I have a strong feeling on the timing of Brandon Martin's tweet right after Pinkel left him bodes well for us.

Word is he has no chance of qualifying. Hopefully, the word is wrong.

I've heard that too and I would think GP wouldn't visit if he thought he couldn't qualify. Didn't the kid go to Dallas Prep to get his scores up? I don't really understand the process.

Yeah, but the school he went to has lost it's accreditation. Seems like a very long shot

From everything I've read, I would agree with this, but it was a good point made above. If it was so clear, why would GP waste his time, especially at this critical point in time when he could be talking to other recruits.
IF, and that's a big IF, he does commit and is eligible, this kid is no 3* WR. He's easily a 4* WR who is listed as a 3* because schools have backed off his recruitment because of the qualifying concerns.

I agree with that as well. Auburn recently offered and sent some coaches to see him. So it is curious all the late interest if he is a lost cause. Hopefully, he got his affairs in order and he is catching passes for Ole Mizzou next year.

So with 5 uncommitted visiting this weekend(I think its 5), how many will we add by Sunday night?

Cusumano just had a solid interview with Danny Heitert. Couple of highlights off the top of my head.
*Wouldn't be surprised to see Howard still flip to Mizzou.
*Frank had to educate him that Mizzou just hired Pitts and Heitert's initial response was that he thinks that could have a huge influence on Hentges.
*Don't remember the exact numbers, but basically the point was that Mizzou has actually already done a solid job pulling the top kids out of the STL this year.
*Didn't realize it, but GP out-recruited CUM for AJ Harris.
*Doesn't think TBJ is the type to be overly wow'ed by any dog and pony show CUM could put on. If tOSU wins out, it won't be because of the glitz and glamour show.

I don't know that it will happen this weekend, but the ones I'd love to hear from this weekend are Terez Hall, Tyrell Jacobs and Brandon Martin.

Has Terez Hall been seriously interested in Mizzou for a while? Up here in Nubland they seem to think he will be a Nub commit.
