Cusumano just confirmed Strong is already at Hinds.
Here's what I think is going on with Strong.
Typical course would be:
2015: Strong plays at Hinds
2016: Strong redshirts at Hinds and graduates from there in May.
2017: Strong at MU with 3 years to play 3
Instead, by enrolling early at Hinds and taking summer courses, what they hope for is:
Spring/Summer: Enroll take a years worth of courses
2015: Strong plays at Hinds and graduates from there in May.
2016: Strong is enrolled and playing at Mizzou.
By doing this, Strong actually comes in with Taylor and only misses one season at Mizzou.

My bad didn't realize that Strong was down there as well.

No worries. I know there was talk of Strong maybe having qualifying issues. I guess this confirms it.
Next question. If he only misses one season of football at Mizzou because of enrolling early at JUCO, does he redshirt that one year and come to Mizzou with 4 years to play 4?

That's exactly what I'm thinking. I'm also wondering at this point...does he redshirt a year so he comes in with 4 years to play 4? Or is he better off continuing to play and just come in with 4 years to play 3?

It will be nice to have him and Taylor down there together since Sunkett said Taylor is still 100% to Mizzou.
Also lucky that even though we won't have Strong for next season, we still have 2 other 4* RB's in this class. His talk about TB was encouraging, we still have work to do but so far so good.

I was a little confused by the Strong part. Not sure if he meant this upcoming year or 2016.
It would seem like the Sawyer situation though, I agree. That would actually be good as he would come here with 4 years of eligibility.

Morrison article basically regurgitating the radio interview. He does say Strong will redshirt and have 4 left to play 4 if all goes well. Also says Taylor is on pace to graduate in December so he may be an early enrollee and be here by next spring.

I'm good being a Mizzou fan lol... I actually moved and work here in the Cincinnati area now. Needless to say Ohio State feels they are on pace to have a dynasty built under Urban Meyer...

Has to do with test scores. His ACT or SAT must be too low for his GPA.

I thought the same. ESL is not known for academics. Hopefully these kids can catch up regardless if they end up at Mizzou or not. Beckner is supposed to be OK, so that's good.
