I think Howard is headed to Illini after reading the PM article. Sounds like he now has a reason to be closer to STL. Junior girlfriend maybe? Let's see if we can flip him on the visit. We have to convince him we wanted him all along.
I'm guessing he doesn't think he will be an NFL player and he is taking the free scholarship to the school with better academics.

I think we'd all be a little surprised if we knew the actual reasons players choose schools. I'd guess academic reputation (actual, not what the players are told) is a miniscule factor.

I know we don't want to mess up the Beckner deal, but if you have a moment watch Jamal Milans film. 6'3" 265 DT. Plays on inner city Chicago team so could use better coaching as they focus on basketball, but watch his feet and running ability. Currently Minn, Illini and NC.

If one doesn't want warnings, one will receive no more warnings. I have no other way of letting one know than on the board. My only other option is to give no warning. So be it.

the question is legally, can Stacy Elliot recruit and talk to players? he is a players dad but isn't that in violation? Didn't the Mizou staff make a request to fans not to recruit players on behalf of the team? If so who get alerted at the ncaa offices?
