That's good news! He plays CB and RB, right?

doubtful. These guys just don't have the offers to make a decommitment. Hell, if I was a 2 star and if Mizzou was my best offer I would stay committed and sign with Mizzou just for the scholly even if I would never get playing time.

You have a good source that you trust for this?
If his dad has bad feelings toward Mizzou, I wonder why? And how deep that goes. His brother went to Arky, right? And didn't do much there?

Raymond Wingo has not declared.
As of 2 weeks ago, Mizzou wasn't even in the hunt.
This shite changes all the time and I believe he visited the weekend of USC unofficially.
as of Oct 30 this was his top list: Auburn, Arkansas, Michigan State, Mizzou, Nebraska and Indiana

poster on PM said this and Gabe confirmed he has been hearing the same.

Well, that would be great news! What position will he play?
Posted on 11/5/13 at 1:35 pm to semotruman
My guess would be CB. I know we have a lot of DBs committed already. I would be willing to bet they try to convert some of them to OLBs

That would be my hope, but some of those guys will have a lot of muscle and weight to put on to be OLBs. LOTS of time in the weight room coming their way.

R. Wingo would be a really good add. I hope other guys in the state (*cough cough* Rod Johnson, Brian Wallace) start to take notice of these guys staying at home and being a true son. I am fine with not having Monte Harrison. I feel Nate Brown will be better anyway. But these big O-Lineman would be great.

We already have like 6 OL, unfortunately. They're not going to take 8 or even 7 OL.. I would think.

Any of those OLine guys that can flip to the defensive side? I don't know if any of them play both ways already. What about I think it was the Hudson kid played TE and was moved inside this year. Any chance they move him back to TE as more of a blocking TE than a receiving TE, which seems to be the direction of the team anyways.

I would think they would, especially the possibility of Bauer greyshirting (have no information that says he will, just a guess that its possible from his injury) and with all the depth issues we had last year it never hurts to take more. Plus I think Boehm could go to the NFL after next year. Hes a first round talent. And we have 2 guys graduating this year.

Think Boehm will go as a center or a guard? I have to believe that he doesn't regularly snap to a QB under center would hurt his stock as a center.

When Ronnie chose the Piggies, it was his mom.
Rumor is that when things kind of stalled at UA, he asked to xfer, and we said "no".
I think its a policy of no 2nd chance xfers and not directed just at Wingo.

He would work out at 3 positions (Both guard positions and Center) in workouts and the combine and then let the team who drafts him choose. Personally I think he is best suited for a guard. He is athletic for his size and can pull very well and be a lead blocker but is also very strong and get ugly. Just saying he is a guy I only expect to be around 1 more year. So taking 7-8 OLineman this year would not be a terrible idea and would open up more for skill position players and Defensive players next year in what should be a better class for us coming off this big year.

Evan Boehm reminds me quite a bit of Barrett Jones from Alabama. Versatile enough to play just about any position on the line, smart enough to anchor the line at center, and great leadership qualities. I would love to see him stay for his senior season, but wouldn't be surprised to see him go. Depends on what kind of year he has next year.

Dave Matter has tweeted that Smith has committed to MU. They have the headline up, story to follow.
EDIT: Not sure what is going on. They deleted a thread on Matter's (reported) tweet on the MizzouTalk board at the PD. Maybe someone jumped the gun?
