The Rock Bridge DT listed at 430 lbs is correct. I watched him in a game this year. At that weight, he doesn't move well. He'd need to drop quite a bit. Logan was the better athlete by far.

Good to see us going after several DB's. I think the focus of this recruiting class is going to be OL, DL, and DB's. If we have a good year and can get the ball rolling recruiting, I'd like to see us use the scholarships we didn't use this time around and sign 30 or so...maybe get a top 10-15 class.

Not going to happen. We'll sign 20-22 I'd bet. I haven't been following recruiting long but I'd be surprised if we ever signed a class that big. Just a quick look at 247 shows 20, 19, 14 in the last 3 classes. That can't be right but if so, I don't know how you maintain depth with such small classes.

Probably not, but one can dream. I'm just glad that it at least appears that the coaching staff is making an effort to compete in the SEC, despite Pinkel's "We do what we do, and what we do works" mantra. The team is getting bigger and faster at nearly every position, but especially in the trenches. We've offered several players for 2014 that are already 4 or 5 star, or projected to be 4 or 5 star. This offers a glimpse of hope for the future of Mizzou football.

Agree 1000% about the kids apparently working their tails off and getting bigger. I think last year gave them a good gauge of what it takes and it seems they are taking the bull by the horn.
I'll get excited when the 4 and 5 stars sign letters of intent. We offered a butt load of 4 and 5 stars last year too but probably never had a real chance at 95% of them. Doesn't hurt to at least give it a run and try though.

Too early to start a 2015 recruiting thread, but Lees Summit West RB Ryan Williams picked up an offer from Mizzou today, Pete Scantlebury feels he could be the top in state player for 2015.
