Apparently a 6'9 basketball player from Illinois named Hayden Barnard committed. See tweet below.

Like his size. Cannot find anything on hi, other than he had a D1 offer from Western Illinois. Ranked in the top 30 prospects for Illinois. Highlights found here.

Averaged around 6 points and 4 rebounds as a sr. Led team with 62 blocks. Coach called him a late bloomer physically. Still putting on weight.

Damn, are there changes coming? I'll just add that Gresham isn't just a RB. He's the no. 1 or 2 ranked FULLBACK in the nation, depending on which site you look at. 5'10" 235 or so.

Gresham is only considering schools that are recruiting him as a RB and not a FB.

Yeah, I meant to update that here. Thanks Cheshire. I asked and was told on the recruiting board. Might be the reason MU is even in the conversation. In the past, we had 0 running backs in the backfield, much less 1. I was getting my hopes up on a scheme change as much as landing the kid, though obviously would love that regardless.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to see him on the Court, though I always like those kind of stories if he can develop himself into a player. 6 points and 4 rebounds as a senior though? Like I said, best of luck to the kid.

Glad they're reaching out all over the nation... but man... really really wish we could have the state of Missouri locked down.

agree with this 100%. If we had Bauer, Johnson, and Harrison locked down this year, it would already be one of our better recruiting classes weve had in the past ten years.

We still are in contact with Bauer. Call me a wishful thinker but I remember my days at desmet and he and his family loved mizzou. I think a good year flips him.

Wins plus other solid commits could go a long way. Especially if we are to beat ole miss this season.

It better start off fast then because I think he intends to be an early enrollee.

I agree with ya too mogray. I would also add getting Markel back in the fold. The kid is a built. This entire class could turn around awfully fast with those 4.
