Wow. What are they doing down there? Their recruiting has been incredible lately. I really felt like Bauer would come to Mizzou.

What a complete joke. So we will be getting our pockets picked this cycle also?

Not surprising about Bauer. Ole Miss backed up the truck for him.

He may end up there, but don't be surprised to see that change yet again.

I sort of doubt that was the case with Bauer.

Bauer quote says Freeze recruited him harder than anyone else. There is absolutely ZERO excuse for this when it's an in state kid. Complete and utter bullshite that GP would get outworked on a 4, soon to be 5 star, lineman from your own state.

Went on to say Freeze is a family man, someone he can trust. Maybe I'm reading too much into this statement, but could this be a statement that the concerns some expressed about GP and his DWI, private life etc...is being used against him? If so, and if those things are a factor to recruits, there's no fixing it.

Don't sweat yet, my friends! Long time till signing day. Early commits mean NOTHING anymore. Just lip service until the ink dries. Don't give up hope yet. WAY too early for that. MIZ...

That won't help. Bauer likely gone if potential team mates are calling him silverspoon fed.

I appreciate the rallying up and saying that we dont need an elite prospect, but the truth is we absolutely do. Its not a matter of getting Roderick or Andy. We need both, and more after that.

I'm gonna assume that is the Dakota Brake from Glendale High. Is he walking on?

I love Brake's passion. He is Mizzou to the core.

Love his passion. Again I hate twitter. Wish he wouldn't have resorted to that.

It is so encouraging pulling up 247's state rankings for Missouri and seeing 3 of the top 4 already with other school's names next to them. I do see 3 Missouri logos if I scroll down a bit. I know. I know. It's early. But this program really needs to start getting some positive mojo flowing.

Couldn't agree more reedus. If we have in fact lost Bauer for good it is a huge blow for Mizzou as a whole ... Similar reason why it was a big deal for DGB to stay home to make a statement that the best recruits should stay home and play for Mizzou. It's a statement. Coaching has two major aspects actually coaching the games and recruiting in the SEC you can't fail in either of the two. If this continues I can't help but think Pinkels days are numbered. Sorry for the rant guys still a lot of time but I feel like we just keep losing momentum. MIZ

I agree 100%. If he can't convince in-state talent to stay home, and can't convince top talent from other states to come here, then he's just not getting it done. I'm not feeling good about our direction, or about Pinkel at this point. If he isn't the guy for the job, find someone who is.

So a bum walk on just called out a 5 star player on twitter... Good to know. Guess we can rule out a potential change in commitment during the next 11 months. Good move Dakota.

Mizzou football is a sleeping giant that will stay asleep.

Mizzou is paying dearly for it's sins of the past. Great program in the 60's and 70s, stopped investing, and now we're paying for it dearly, still and forever.

Think about who Mizzou could have had recently. Monte Ball, big TE that went to Nebraska, Iowa has taken some big ones, Elliot. You could make a huge list of great players that would have put Mizzou on an elite level. A shame.
