Nothing notable that I have seen. Seems like everyone had a great time. Steak and lobster dinner. The big news was Hendrix taking Tennessee out of his twitter background which could mean absolutely nothing.

If he didn't commit already, I'm gonna guess it means absolutely nothing. It will probably be back up by the time he meets with Butch Jones this week or his commitment will at least be re-affirmed. Oh well, on to Ford and Cage and Jackson.

Another Texas recruit as well. Scout lists him as 6'4", 195 with 4.46 speed, saw somewhere that his verticle was 39". Does sound very DX-esque.

Wonder how many more commits they can take? Gotta be razor thin now, unless they are counting on some further decommits or kids transferring out.

Sounds like Jason Reese got some really good reviews from the recruits who spent some time with him.

As for how thin we are, 5 of the commits enrolled this semester counting against the 2013 class, 1 will probably grey shirt. I would think we can take anywhere from 4-6 more commits.

The potential is there for Dilosa. He has very good size and great one step acceleration

I think we already have to drop a player or drop an offer to a commit in order to make room for the Dilosa kid.

By my count, we have 67 on scholarship and in school. That would include the 5 early enrollees. We currently have 21 other commits. That puts us at 88, already over the 85 limit. So 3 kids will have to either transfer, flip their commitment, get processed or have their offer yanked. Obviously, for each additional commit, that number will go up correspondingly. So it's 3 right now and if we take 4-6 more commits, that means that number is no longer 3 but 7-9 kids you are giving the treatment to. I'm hoping maybe they've already been told by a handful of kids that they're transferring so they know there's room to play with.

As for the grey shirt, that still doesn't get us under the number but DGB2 did make a comment that he was planning on being at Mizzou playing next season, which tells me he's not planning on grey shirting.

Someone please tell me if I'm wrong about the numbers or how they play out.

Any feedback on the Tavon Ross visit to Miami? I just saw someone from Georgia think they're still going to flip him.

Or on Rocel McWilliams?

Come on, y'all! We're building a reputation as the best free source for recruiting info! We're slacking!

Been strangely quiet if you ask me semo. Was hoping for a lot more buzz after this past weekend. Also, was looking at the roster and while I'm concerned about taking ZERO DT's in this class, we do have some existing depth at DT with Hoch, Brantley, Augusta, Vincent, Logan, Osborne, Winston and Crawford. Was looking at the DE's though and someone tell me if I'm leaving someone out:

2014

Seniro - Golden
Junior - Ray
RS Freshman - Loud
Freshman - McWilliams

Yeah, that's it. Oh, the Harris kid I guess if emergency minutes are needed. If Ray has a good year and goes next year, DE becomes extremely thin. If McWilliams flips away, then in 2015 we would have:

RS Sophomore - Loud

I'm guessing some LB's are planning on moving to DE? I have to be missing some names. It's early. No coffee. What am I missing. Or is it ok to have 3 or 4 total DE's on your roster?

Whatever happened to Sharieff Rhaheed?

Last I heard, it was down to Arky and Mizzou. Now, I'm reading that the Porch Sows are moving on. But I've heard nothing on our side.

I haven't seen anything on him either.

The quiet is really strange. I thought there would be more buzz. This could be really bad, or very good. Just don't know.

Charles Harris was in last years class, will be a RS Freshman next year. He was a guy who was not rated. Blossomed late I guess. 6'4 235. Had 12 sacks as a SR in Kansas City. Rickey Hatley will be a RS SO. 3* DE out of Atlanta. Evan Winston will be a RS SO. 3* DE out of Michigan.

Forgot about Hatley. Winston is a DT per MU's site. Yes, I like the Harris story but I guess time will tell if he develops into a contributor. Feel a little bit better about the numbers but still think we're going to be thin at DE a year from now.

Thanks for the info Triple. Must be real interest if they're re-scheduling after the weather delay. Keep fingers crossed.

We're are not a team that uses a heavy rotation at DE. All we have to do is try to load up on them next year in the event we do not get any this year. And again if Vincent Jackson Jr. commits he is likely a DE. And there is a very small chance that we somehow flip Hendrix.

This is good info.

So, McWilliams is still committed despite his visit to Florida, right?

And what about Tavon Ross? I saw a Georgia writer saying they felt pretty confident about flipping him yesterday.
