That's where I see Mizzou this year and I agree with this schedule breakdown (aside from a loss to UK, I believe it will be Florida but splitting hairs here)

I can see 10-2 this year. The schedule sets up nicely, and we have enough returning talent to make it happen.
I could see us losing to Florida, or winning. And, good night I don't want to lose to SC or UK again this year.
I love the 50 -17 prediction vs Tenn. I LOLed.

I can see it, but as always it depends largely on health. We are kind of thin at DL so we can’t afford many injuries there. Of course the QB needs to stay healthy.
We’ve got a pretty damn good squad. Time to put it together

I know that I will be called a negative Nancy, but who is going to be our big play wr? We lost every game last year without a healthy Hall. Do we know what to expect in the passing game from Kelly? Who will step up if he get's hurt?

How many times are you going to ask the same question and ignore the fact that that the passing offense isnt going to depend on deep throws outside the hash?

I see losses to:
West Virginia
Georgia
Kentucky
South Carolina or Florida but not both.
The rest should be wins. 8-4.

Lock depended on Hall because he played to Locks strength. Long accurate throws. Kelly is a different QB. Even if Hall were on the roster, we wouldn't see those throws. But we should see more consistency short to mid range throws. And by the way, those Freshmen didnt look too bad last year.

How do you see a loss to West Virginia?
They lost their head coach, starting QB, best WR, and have had 3 players transfer out of the program in the last few weeks, including 2 starting safeties, and a DT. They lost a couple more on defense to graduation.
There is no way you should "see" that as a loss. Mizzou should be favored by 2 TDs.

I'm going to ask until I see something different. I hope that they show me something different, but as of now I don't see any big play wrs with maybe the exception of Johnson. Cam Scott has potential and hopefully one of the freshmen will step up. If Mizzou scheme around their qb and present wrs and can score against SEC teams I'm man enough to say that you are correct.

Scott is a deep threat. Boone certainly can be as well. Look for Knox to be the #1 WR. I wouldn’t worry too much about the WR group. We’ve got talent, experience and depth.
If you want to worry then worry about depth in the defensive front 7. That’s our biggest question mark imo.

I thought I was more up on the news, I didn't know about *that* much turnover at West Virginia. Mizzou should win that game.
Alright, so 9-3 but the elephant in the room...
What game are we going to lose to an inferior opponent?

Did you watch any of the spring game? Bryant's chart is 180 out from Lock's. This offense is going to attack the seams with the slot and TE. There will be shots down field but Bryant isn't going to be knifing 10+ throws a game at the deep middle and at the boundaries.

Well if we go by recruiting rankings then none of our conference opponents will be “inferior”...so there’s that

Sandy did a drive by to down vote some posts. Weak.

We're going to be better at receiver than anyone thinks (I'm using receiver as in across the line); Scott, Nance, Albert, Johnson, Knox, Bannister, Gicinto, Parker with the defense pays him no mind......and this isn't including any new guys.

Badie will factor into the passing game as well. I think he becomes a real weapon in the screen/flat game.

IDK...I know the staff is high on Badie and I like what I've seen but would think, for the most part, the RBs will block as Kelly rolls out. The RBs will definitely be in the mix for some passes for sure, just not sure how many.

And give up a second level mismatch on the boundary? No way. What you suggest negates the conflict Bryant's legs create.
