Meh I'll take this over being 0-2 with Moorhead. It was fun being back at dws

Why not put Schraeder at QB for a few series in the third or fourth quarter. A running threat at QB would have helped against that defense.

he hasn't learned the offense at QB. he isnt even a back up option

Might want to consider it then..gotta have some options if the rest of the SEC copies the defensive plan

A lot of SEC teams probably think this was the case. But really it wasn't. Just bad red zone execution and decision making by Costello. Kylin getting out disrupted our offense as well and he is certainly our offensive leader this year.
I really don't like what I've seen from Kentucky, so I still like our chances there.
Still had over 300 passing yards which before Leach DID NOT HAPPEN SINCE 2016. LET ME REPEAT. WE WENT 3 YEARS WITHOUT HAVING A 300 YARD PASSING GAME. And we just did it in BACK TO BACK games.
I really don't see why any MSU fan should feel completely bad rn. We had a great win and a bad loss. So be it. The hot takes that we are going to win everything after week 1 and lose everything after week 2 need to chill tf out.

Correction - you have a decent win and an extremely awful loss.

I think you’re 1-1 with Moorhead too, just beating Arky and losing to LSU. But maybe not.
Thanks for bringing Arky fans back to tRant. They’re wonderful.

OK, in all seriousness. We are much better than either of us thought we would be on Defense.. Just very, very young and our depth is weak.
However, we have went with the belief that younger is hungrier and faster. So we have given our young runts a chance to run with the big/odler hogs. Thus fare we are impressed. We will win a couple more games and nobody thought that was possible with a 1st year HC who had never been a HC, with what Chard left us. WPS!
