Just noticed this. We could have used him, but at least we know prior to spring training.

Makes sense. His knees are already messed up enough as it is.

This. I felt as if he was sacrificing himself last year. Holding out for SEC games then using what little was left up.. The Oline was better with him in, for sure.

Malone progressed as the year went on and I think we will be fine. Good for Tobias getting into coaching. Great guy who sacrificed a ton for MSU

What did we have red shirted and for depth. Flowers is going to be a beast, but he very well may have to go JUCO.

Malone started 8 games last season- hell, he was the starter over Tobias in actual numbers. Tobias just had a body that couldnt match his talent. Damn shame

Malone will be fine

He was smart and one HELL of a motivator too. He'll do good in the coaching ranks.
