Grats to Florida and Merlinz for actually coaching and making adjustments during the game.
Our OC/playcaller is clearly not SEC caliber.
In a 13-6 game how do our RBs only get 12 carries.
Fitz passed 26 times.
Our Defensive scheme was also bad. While we only gave up 13 (somehow) we kept letting florida get first downs and control time of possession. Awful gameplanning all around for the second week in a row.
Also can we start a Croom-TD counter? So far 1 TD in 8 Qs vs SEC play.

I wouldn’t say we’ve returned to a Croom level bad but good gosh. I had a feeling the season would turn into something like this. I said we were a 7-5 and I’m thinking we will be lucky to get to seven. I just felt like with a new coach coming in like this, there would be some adjusting.
Can we not figure out how to adjust to outside pressure? Fitz needs to hit some quick throw plays, screens, quick slants,
When Fitz can make a throw, we need receivers that can catch. We also need wr that can run routes. I feel like I saw 2-3 times when our receivers were bunched in the middle.
Dear mr shoop, did you not watch any film on Franks? All you have to do is rush more than 5 and he’s rattled but we played right into their hands and he was comfortable all night.

Moorhead is like a fat Jason Garrett.
I hope this offense improves once he recruits his players.

We are hung up in a major transition and it is what it is. Terrible timing and a wasted opportunity in terms of this season. On offense, it’s the equivalent of sending a bunch of kids who’ve never had more than 7th grade science to physics class. It’s more than getting his kind of players in, it’s having time for them to learn a complex system that puts a lot of pressure on them to make the right choice on each play. Our guys have been under a pretty basic offensive concept up until now. There’s nothing wrong with that, it consistently wins games when you are physically superior to your opponent, but it doesn’t do much for you when you aren’t, which explains why we never beat Bama and were an 8-9 win team at best.
Long term I think we will be better than the past 9 years, but disappointed it comes at the expense of what could’ve been a pretty special year. Hopefully the offense can pull it together at some point to close out the season with some momentum. Going to be extremely difficult to gain any of that momentum the next 2 games.

I don't mind losing as much as how we lose -- so far this staff:
(a) can't make a decent game plan to start a game and
(b) never adjusts.
I really don't understand how if the strength of our Offense is running, why our running backs get forgotten.
We had enough talent to be better than this, the staff has really not done a good job molding their style to what we currently have.

Fitz’s passing game has gotten worse. At this point KT should be playing. I understand the O-Line was getting blown up but the passes he did get off (minus the dropped TD pass) were fricking HORRIBLE.

Agreed. If Key can execute 25% of the offense well, then 25% of something is better than what we are seeing now.

Good coaches adapt their scheme to fit the personnel that they have. Moorhead has not done that.

I guess we could’ve promoted Knox and shot for still winning 8-9 games a year. Then we could fall back on bitching about not being able to bring in good wide receivers and a QB who can get the ball down the field.
