Holy shite. You are the polar opposite of this in football. If Mullen offers a no name 2 star with offers from Alcorn you tout how he is a diamond and other schools are really missing out etc etc
In football you have 85 scholarship players. Only 13 in basketball. You can't afford to sign projects in basketball especially if we are short on talent to begin with like we are now.

This is the biggest crock of shite I've ever heard on here.
You literally shouldn't be able to comment on baseball, nor enjoy our success, given how you trashed Cohen for 2 years and Thompson for 3.

Malik will be a 5 star prospect and we have a slim chance of landing in 2 years depending on if we show improvement or not
Booker- ZERO shot of landing due to his ties to Michigan and Missouri
Riley Norris- Doesnt even have an offer and is a low 3 star
Maurice Dunlap- Really needs to work in the weightroom, I see him as a less unathletic smaller Barry Stewart
Laderrick Scott- Grades, wont qualify JUCO bound
Dwight Coleby- Signed with Ole Miss b/c AK knows how things in SEC recruiting work
You mfs are talking yourselves in circles.
We've got Darkhorse saying we aren't recruiting elite talent. I show that we are, in fact, offering and TARGETING elite talent. Almost all of which have been on campus. That = RECRUITING THEM. AS MUCH AS WE POZSSIBLY CAN. The second lists I added aren't "offers", they are TARGETS, as in the only guys we are going after. Yet, now we've got Bundy whining about "we dont have awwyyy chawwwnce of gettin these guwsss". Well, we're fricking recruiting them. We're trying our best. What more would you have us do, Bundy?
You frickers are just going to bitch about this until we start winning...at which point I will let NEITHER of you enjoy the success on here. IF you bail on the program and whine and bitch when we are down(at no fault of our current coach), you don't deserve to enjoy the success we have on the other side of this.

Recruit like we did when Stans was HC he never hap problems signing elite prospects, only had problems getting them to come to college.
Lets face it college basketball recruiting is a dirty business if Coach Ray wants to make it he's going to have to get his hands a little dirty.

I just stopped posting. Those two are going to dislike Ray till he wins. It's sad though. The guy is working his arse off and it's obvious but these two have to complain.

And maybe Rick Ray doesn't want to be dirty, maybe he wants to do it the right way. Maybe you shouldn't criticize him for having morals. Maybe he doesn't want to become Rick Stansbury.

Coaches who coached in the SEC who didn't want to be dirty
Rod Barnes
Buzz Peterson
Jeff Lebo
Trent Johnson
Darrin Horn
Dennis Felton
Guess what they all have in common?

Hahaha. Read what you typed. What the frick does any of that matter? They never made it to campus. If it makes you feel better that Ellis and Outlaw were comitted to us but never came here, then I have no words.

And just WTF has Ray done that makes you think he is incapable of playing the game and signing elite prospects to the same/greater extent than Stansbury did? Are the boosters that fronted all the money to get each and every Stans recruit to campus for the past 20 years just going to suddenly butt out and not keep rolling? Have you ever talked to Rick Stansbury for more than 5 minutes? It is not his amazing personality that got those guys to Starkville. It is "the game" in which basically all the players are still in play.
The less Ray knows about it, the better.
Saying we have no chance with guys who have been to our campus multiple times and are being actively recruiting 2+ years in advance simply shows YOUR TRUE AGENDA. If you were playing it honest, you would say, "good, they are giving us a look, we have really got to pull out all the stops to get those guys." But that goes against your agenda of calling Ray a failure until he proves himself a success, instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Again.... You use one site to prove your point.... U don't link it, you capture a picture. I show you 2 sites that totally say you are wrong.
So pick and choose what site makes your point. I don't care. When you buy my tickets and pay my way, then you can tell me I can't have an opinion. When you pay my club membership... Then you can tell me what I can think.
Otherwise, I will continue to voice my opinion on what he does or does not do.... Deal?
Also, please link me to show that all of those prospects stepped foot on campus.

Why are you talking to me? I never used any site to prove any point to you. I have not and will not waste my time trying to prove a point to someone with a lower IQ than a brick wall.
I simply stated something along the lines of: "Don't bother. Nobody wants to hear you opinion." That thought still stands true.
I never said you could not have an opinion. I simply stated that we didn't want to hear your opinion. I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion on all matters.
Again, I never told you "how to think." I'm not sure how that is even possible.

First, learn how to reply, genius.
You haven't shown me a damn thing. Nothing. You haven't linked jack shite. You "told" me that we weren't recruiting blue chips and I proved to you that we are. End of story. You are trying to use two sites that don't even half arse follow basketball recruiting in the first place, much less MSU basketball.
What exactly do you think you are trying to do?
Link me to where they haven't?
Devin Booker and Malik Newman were both there on unofficial visits for the Arkansas game. Whether you choose to believe that or not, I don't give a flying frick. Your mind is made up and your opinion is stupid. I accept the fact that I can't change it. But, I will be calling it out whenever I see fit and exposing it for it's inadequacies.

No you only proved we offered. That's it. To be honest, I really don't care if you can or can't.

And Horatio was at the Auburn game. All unofficial. You still are not proving your point.
You feel that an offer is in fact recruiting. It is not. Like I stated earlier, great job on getting the players up and fighting. However, until I see his actions (which will take time) I'm not going to crown him a great recruiter. PERIOD. I can only go by his, not mine, words.
If he in fact starts to pull in great recruits, I will sing his praises!

I will post my opinions whenever I see fit. You are more than encouraged to respond. It's a message board. I expect that and accept that. Like wise... I will do the same.
