2 for 1 deal. Only 6 home games in 2016. The game will be played at Gillette Stadium.

I could be wrong here, but I checked on fbschedules.com and found that there were some Big 12 schools available that day. I think Texas Tech would have been a great game.

Every Big 12 teams schedule is booked except Kansas State; and Mississippi State and Kansas State are playing in 2018-2019

Pretty cool that it is at Gillette. I like the easy wins.

I don't. I like to have some semi-decent competition so 1)We have a better idea of how good our team is. and 2)So the team is used to playing at the highest level.
That #1 ranking, no matter how awesome it was for 6 weeks, didn't do us any good in the last part of the season.

If you are an sec team there is no reward for playing a tough ooc.

We would've been left out of the playoff last year with one loss because of our OOC.

Archie said that the committee had us ahead of OSU until we lost the Ole Miss game, so the weak OOC didn't hurt us.

Y'all weren't getting in without a conference title, IMO. You should have mailed it in post-Auburn like we did and saved yourself the heartache

But if we had a tough road game against a team like KState (and lost) we would've never been in the conversation to begin with.
A tough OOC game has more opportunity to hurt us than it does to help us. Even with our shitty OOC last year and a late Eggbowl beat down we got the friggin Orange Bowl.

We play in the SEC West. The toughest division in all of college football. We most certainly do play the best.
