Out of all of the State fans that I know and/or talk to, you are the only one that feels this way. Congratulations.
But I'm still right.
Dak, stalled a lot of drives. He rushed against the 92nd ranked defense more than all of our backs combined. Those guys could have done the job and TR would have completed the passes.

just stop. shut the frick up. there is nothing you are saying that is actually coherent and anywhere near the mark on what actually happened or what will happen in the future.

Did you watch the OSU game?

Dak is not the problem. Our shitty head coach is the problem. Sorry..it sucks for Russell. I really do feel for the guy. Dak is so obviously the guy for the job. Any decent coach would have easily beaten auburn on Saturday.

Very. He was able to last season, and no reason to think he could not this season. So far, he's completing 63% of his passes.
Are you suggesting that our RBs could not have ran the ball effectively against Auburn?

Yes. What about the OSU game. We talking about the horrible play calling? I agree. It was. After the first series, we ran the ball 12 out of the next 15 plays.
Are we talking TR's performance? Yep... He completed roughly 63% of his passes.

Don't try to be a smart arse. Prove me wrong. How many times did Dak throw the ball in the dirt to an open WR? How many passes did he complete?
You want change because you think it will be better with the play calling, but it won't.
All of the fans were yelling for the head of Relf too. "We have TR. He's the future! Might as well play him now for experience. He can't complete passes. He holds the ball too long. He's just not the same as last year." etc etc etc...
TR comes in and sets records. Play calling goes south and now you want to try a Relf again. The stage is already being set too for the true freshman. Soon, we will want him starting because Dak's just not progressing as we'd hoped.
Again, give me one reasons on why Dak should be starting over a 5th year senior who is completing a much higher rate of passes with capable backs behind him?

How many times did he throw the ball into the hands of an open WR and they just dropped it?

Which is why people are calling for Mullen's head . . . the play calling sucks, and everyone knows it.

Relf had broken ribs bro, he obviously wasn't the same in 2011 as he was 2010.

A slippery slope logical fallacy? Come on now, you can do better.

Because Dak actually throws outside the hashmarks and can run with own legs.

Our offense and personnel fit Dak's strengths. It has nothing to do with accuracy, especially when we have a young WR core prone to drops. Our defense doesn't have the depth of the top SEC programs and needs a time consuming offense. We have that with Dak. Tyler will put up yards but airing it out with him vs. the better SEC defenses leads to quick 3 and outs and our defense being winded by the 3rd quarter.
Look at 2010 vs. 2012, we're a grind it out, have to earn everything we get kind of program. Tyler has the great arm and can put up great numbers but his style has never flourished at State and there's a reason for that.

Not many at all.

Agreed. Had he stuck to the types of plays he used in the first half, we win with Dak.

Auburn game. I remember. Doesn't change the point though.

It a proven point with our fan base.

Uh, I do believe that TR does too. And he passes better.
A running QB that can not throw is not a good combination. The 92nd ranked defense just showed you that.

Time out. You can not have it both ways to suit you, unless you are suggesting that they catch the ball better for TR (63%).. Either they can catch or they can't. When TR is qb, they catch. When Dak is, they don't.

We did that with TR in the OSU game. Worked well to until the play calling changed and we went to a run only plan.
Second point of this is that you need to look at the passing defenses of the top SEC west teams. Bama.. not good. Ole Miss, not good, LSU.. TR lite them up last year. TAMU.. same thing.
Example.. Bama.. Ranked top 10 last year. This season.. 76th! But you want to run against them? 3 of the SEC teams that we are going to face are ranked in the top 25 in rush defense. Care to how many are not against the pass?
If we can't pass, and Dak is in, he's going to get punished because he does not make good option reads. That's why he had more rushes vs Auburn than all of the back combined.

Can darkhorse please get banned? I can't take Mullen's bullshite plus this.

The difference in their passer ratings might account for 2 more completed passes for Russell which is poppycock for the difference Dak makes with his legs..

WOW!!!
63 whole %
Wow is right..
I'll take the QB who rushes 133 yds as opposed to the one that makes one extra 2 yard pass in the flats (gotta fluff that passer rating)and gets murdered every other play.. Our lead receiver may be the shortest person on the team and you think we should go with the pocket passer?

shite, you're 80 years old, and you could complete 63%+ if you threw curls, outs, and flats all day.
