I won’t be watching or attending any more games until Moorhead is shown the door. That was the worst performance I’ve seen by a state team since 2008 under Croom

He'll leave for another job at the end of the season

How do you get a delay of game coming out of the gate?
Posted on 9/29/19 at 3:21 pm to Mardye McDole
Because it's part of the Championship Standard of Moor Penalties

You're going to be waiting a long time, unless something happens to Shrader.

So I guess you have forgotten USA in 2016, Auburn 2016, A&M 2012, OM 2012, OM 2014 etc.
We have laid several eggs since 2008.

Alabama in 2014 was a worse performance than Ole Miss in 2014. And idk why you would even put 2014 Ole Miss in that category at all.
USA we played well for a half but didnt show up after halftime, Auburn was rough but we sucked in 2016. I mean A&M was bad but the whole theatrics around it re our athletic department caused that more than the coaching staff imo. And yeah Ole Miss was a rough end to that stretch I agree with that being on a list.
HOWEVER. This is on another level from every game you mentioned. This team starts the game with a Delay of game and has a delay of game to punt ON THE FIRST DRIVE. Auburn scored on their first play by running the ball 30 yeards with NO contact. ANd scored 3 TDS in 5 minutes.
This is easily on the list of worst MSU performances of all time and yeah you can bring up Maine or whatever, but that team had far less talent than this one did. And its not even close. And the talent will only get worse in the future if that is what to expect when we play an opponent with a pulse.

I did see one "bright" spot - they finally started tackling. Unfortunately the runner was 10 yards out-of-bounds when Morgan decided to make his highlight reel late hit.
And special teams performance looked better -- only missed one extra point.
Anybody know what Moorhead's buy-out clause looks like ? Can't see him leaving after this season.

I'll go back and say it again. Who's a leader on this team?
Posted on 10/1/19 at 7:32 am to Cdawg
Probably Shrader on offense as we seem to do better under him.
On defense our potential leaders have to sit 8 games
What sucks is the suspensions give Moorhead an excuse for us not being better than a 6-7 win team

If we can get the younger(moorhead's) guys to buy in, we could be ok.
Not saying for us, but has Arkansas or anybody shown interest in Mike Norvell at Memphis?

It’s hard to get freshmen to take a leadership role, the upperclassmen won’t respect them in most cases

Shrader should have earned his respect.

Nothing will get better on offense until our fat slow linemen learn how to finish blocks...you can't just give someone a shove and leave it at that!!
