I don't know what you're talking about.

This is like saying Moncrief "proved" Banks wasn't an elite corner.
Are you comparing Moncrief to UAB's WR's?
quote:
That and the Bama games were outliers when Banks wasn't 100% -- and has been evidenced since by him being one of the two best rookie corners in the NFL last year and making the All-Rookie team -- as well as never being burned in his first 3 years of college
Ok? Banks was a boss and is doing well in the NFL. Why are you bringing Banks up? He isn't Calhoun or on MSU's defense this year...?
quote:
Calhoun got beat once in that game making the first obvious time he's gotten posterized in man in his career
So, Calhoun has never been beat in his college career? I haven't watched every MSU game, but if that was the case, he would have been pre-season All-American.
quote:
In a shocking turn of events -- some of us actually go to games
Ha, I haven't missed a home game since I was six years old and I live six hours away. Vandy and Arky will be the only two games I miss this year. One due to my buddy passing away and one due to a marriage.
quote:
But -- remember -- Kentavious Webster over any DB on our team.
I would, but go ahead and laugh. You should know the feeling about making an unpopular claim, since you declared Slay better than Banks from Day 1, right? Don't be a hypocrite.
quote:
Those 5 RBs are certainly taking JRob to the woodshed as well.
I'm not even going to waste my time with this.

I'm saying one game -- and especially one play -- doesn't prove a damn thing.
quote:
Ok? Banks was a boss and is doing well in the NFL. Why are you bringing Banks up? He isn't Calhoun or on MSU's defense this year...?
Because it's the same exact argument 2 years later with nothing learned on your side. None of you admitted anything about Banks prior to his JR year -- just like you aren't with Calhoun. Banks didn't win any real "awards" or get on the national radar until his senior year outside of the Tebow game as a FR. This is Calhoun's JR year. And he's pretty hyped as is.
quote:

Beat deep for a TD? No not once. We give up very, very few big plays in general. That's what made our approach to the UAB game so surprising.
quote:
I would, but go ahead and laugh. You should know the feeling about making an unpopular claim, since you declared Slay better than Banks from Day 1, right? Don't be a hypocrite.
Not from day 1 -- from the start of his SR year. Don't straw man the argument.
And, yes, taking a true FR corner that has 5 tackles and 2 PBUs that you've seen for a total of, at most, 20 meaningful plays over anyone we have is laughable. Tolando Cleveland has more production. He's > any DB on OM's team!!1!1(see how ridiculous it is). Hell Ced Jiles had a couple of PBUs against JSU his first game as a true freshman. That make him elite too?

I'm not even going to waste my time with this.
You argued it at length the first time. Why not now? Because reality is hitting.

Because USM and UAB.

It has nothing to do with the players. It's the fact that I make claims exactly like you(off the wall, nonsense) and you go all ape shite in laughter...not realizing you're laughing at yourself. It's quite funny.

Not really. Why would I trade our future at CB for a Junior when we have Hilton(JR) and Golson(SR)? Ever thought about it in those terms?

Jeebus, registering for the bar exam is probably the most annoying thing I've ever done.
When would y'all like to vote on these awards?

Can we get best gif or meme award? I feel like that's the only way I can win... Even Pivey has better comebacks than me.

Maybe the LSUFreek Memorial Award where the winner is the best user of digital media, in any format, in furthering the purposes of rustling both Landmass and non-Landmass jimmies?

That's a convenient twisting of reality. You don't argue something passionately if you don't believe it on some level.

No -- because those weren't the initial terms of the debate.

No. I said I would rather have Wilkins/Dodson/Walton/Mathers/Judd over J-Rob/Shump. That whole debate was about Shump, not J-Rob. I see you spinning again, eng, I see you.

False. I can argue anything from any point. I can passionately argue that David Kamara is the best DB to ever come through the SEC. I call it the "engie stance"
