Not so much now

We might be bottom 4 in the conference from what I’ve seen

Our athletic department is in a dark place right now. This feels like some of the lows we were having in the late 2000’s/early 2010’s. Football team lays eggs, can’t get momentum and is on the bad end of an egg bowl streak, basketball is predictably horrible and hasn’t won an NCAA tournament game in 14 years, a once great womens basketball team was torpedoed completely in two seasons…now baseball, after finally reaching the summit, is quickly tumbling down.

It’s just not very entertaining and the fun is gone almost across the board. Last baseball season was awesome, but we should be in a position to build after a title, not scrape to beat freaking Grambling….we are in serious shite and the man that wears maroon that I trust the least is in charge of getting us out of the mess.

This is me trying my best (and probably failing) to not overreact, but we are in an athletic mire and I’m confident our leadership cannot get us out. It hurts to be so inept at baseball.

Baseball team is young. I don’t worry about them so much even though they are tough to watch. Basketball sucks

Overreact much??? This baseball team in back to back years has replaced 6 years worth of recruits. This is a completely new team and you’re writing them off in the second week of the fricking season

Im all for dogging on our AD right now. Mike Leach has been nothing to write home about. Ben Howland should have been fired 2 seasons ago. The Hump desperately needed attention over a decade ago and we are just now addressing this. John Cohen needs to go but baseball has absolutely nothing to do with it.

This is a young baseball team. With regard to basketball and football I’ve been calling for the firing of Cohen ever since the Moorhead disaster. Let’s be real the only good hire he has made is Lemonis in a sport he played and coached. He even whiffed on his first baseball coach hire.

Football is fine we were a good FG kicker away from 9-10 wins.

We were young and return the most production in the SEC. I feel good about the future there and Leach never fields bad teams once he gets his players in with experience. He will continue to win 6-10 games imo

Basketball needs a young fiery coach.

Baseball we have talent and coaching. Just took more of a step back than I figured we would. Potential is there.

Yea cohen torpedoed women basketball

Leach had to start from scratch in the covid year.

We improved this year. We will be better next year. He never fields his best teams in first 2 years it’s always year 3-4 with leach
