It's a silver lining I guess. Kind of a double edged sword though because knowing the OL played well makes the play calling and QB play even that more atrocious.

How many sacks and QB hurries did this line give up though? Had to be a ton.

And it's not the OL's fault that Mullen's dumbass sends a 160lb soaking wet RB through a hole up the gut multiple times.

But from my recollection I remember seeing the OL getting dominated.

If anything, finding less fault on the OL solidifies the argument that Mullen has no business making personnel decisions and calling plays. Because if the OL was doing well then there really is no excuse.

They were better at pass protection than run blocking. That being said I still don't think they dominated the second string USA line like they should have.

Mullen can call all the plays he wants but he needs to let someone else decide who should be on the field.

Mullen should be out on the street. That's my opinion though. I'm tired of this dog and pony show he's sporting. Dak saved his arse, that's all. even when Dak was here the play calling was atrocious.

Point being: We're capable of so much more. Fire Mullen.

Wish I had more hands so I could give this post 4 thumbs down.

Hope y'all are putting your money on the dawgs. Bouncing back hard tomorrow, really going to throw a wrench in the rant's ATS picks.

#32.... blocked invisible people. Not sure why, as a senior, he isn't making reads and picking up the blitz. Not every block or lack of block is the OL responsibility.

Not sure about QB hurries, but they only gave up 1 sack. Whose fault that was I honestly don't know.

Dude I was as pissed at Mullen as anyone after the first game and if he doesn't make some changes then yeah, he needs to be fired but saying that right now is pretty premature.

ETA: I'm not going to blow sunshine up your arse like Skirp over here, there a lot of bad shite happening.

I was wrong that Fitz would have run for over 100 against south alabama. He would have run for over 300. Dammit Mullen

Mullen plays favorites/seniors like a high school coach.

I liked what I saw out of Mullen Saturday. He was intense and passionate. We haven't seen that out of him in awhile.

Yeah, Mullen's play calling is atrocious and I've been against him since before Dak became starter. When Dak was here I felt like we achieved despite the terrible calls from Mullen.

Saturday was a good day. I don't understand, and will never understand, why Mullen has a 165lb RB stuffing up the middle. But all and all things were pretty great. The best thing was to see Mullen actually fired up before, during, and after the game. I hate that it took a loss to USA to make that happen. You'd think making over 4 mill a year would motivate someone to do a little more than smirk after a missed field goal.
