We can win the game. Louisville is ranked 115th in the country in rush defense and just gave up 515 yards to a one dimensional Kentucky Team that we beat 28-13.

If we can win this game, this would give me some positivity about Moorhead for 2020. If we don't it'll be a very long off-season.

Might as well focus on Men's Basketball!

I agree. After the Bowl fiasco of last year, this feels like a must win game that we should be capable of winning.

A win would certainly give us some MoJo (no pun intended) going in to next year for JoMo.

If we can’t win this bowl matchup after what Kentucky did to them, oh god help me.

Danzler isn't playing, but I guess everyone else will. If Kylin and Garrett just run the ball, we should be fine.

Why should we have any confidence? This Moorhead offense is no different in 2019 than it was in 2018 and he has his QBs or whatever now

I keep seeing this stuff about "Moorhead's offense", and it is puzzling. Baltimore brought Moorhead in during the off-season to revamp the Raven's passing game, and Harbaugh gives Joe tons of credit for the changes that he made to help Jackson become a more complete QB.

So, we have a coach whose schemes worked in the Big Ten and work in the NFL, but somehow they won't work in the SEC. Does that make sense? It is on Moorhead to ramp up the personnel, but the schemes we are running are not the problem.

This offseason, the Ravens spoke to Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead, Toledo coach Jason Candle and Tulane offensive coordinator Will Hall about ball-handling drills, footwork and how plays are read. Former Georgia Tech and Navy coach Paul Johnson, an expert at the triple option, visited during organized team activities.

Not sure what they did with Joe, but seems like they talked to quite a few....old boy network?

But yes, I agree. Where's the offensive attack at State?

I watched the interview with Harbaugh. Joe was in for the passing game. Jason Candle worked with them on the pistol running attack. Local boy Will Hall on what it says there. Paul Johnson wasn't mentioned in the interview that I saw.

FWIW, I expect that it will not be much longer until we see Will Hall make it to the SEC.

Joes type of offense requires an experienced QB that knows his reads, a good OL to give him time and be able to run block to open up the pass game, and 2-3 good WR.

None of which we currently have. Joe is going to have recruit his arse off and develop our young talent pretty quick to stay in the good graces of the fans. It’s a tall order to make a drastic change like this in time to see success without getting fired. Not sure the fans will be patient enough. He needs 7 wins minimum next year for fans to give him another season
