A win over Arkansas does not mean this team has improved or is in the right direction

I am not even sure we win on Saturday, but this is the worst team we have played all season. Even worse than ULL and USM. Just because we beat them does not mean we have turned the corner.
This is a bad Arkansas Team and their coach who has never won an SEC game and has a losing record to the Mountain West just "guaranteed a win" over us.
If they beat us after he guarantees a win, theres no turning back. Fire him by Monday.

I can already see it now. They beat us like 19-10 with a couple trick plays that are freshmen corners will inevitably bite on. Our offense will start off with a three and out that includes a false start and a sack on third and long and give their defense some confidence.
It will absolutely be the ugliest football game played all day and everyone will laugh at “poor ole missippi schtate” oh and some clowns on genespage will get mad bc people call joe names and they will want to give him another year to recruit his players! Then some dumbass’ on twitter will say “keytaon would’ve won this game, joe shoulda never benched him”

idgaf about Genes Page. Back in August they all claimed that there would be "no suspensions". They are just bad propaganda. Youll get more information from this free site then you will from them.
There is no excusing this team if they lose, which im actually leaning towards State winning this one which is why I am posting this.
But I just wanted to put it on record that beating Arkansas isnt a sign of improvement, they havent won an SEC game since October of 2017.

This team has lost the last two weeks by a combined score of 99-17 and State is only favored by 7. That tells you all you need to know about where our program is.
Moorhead is 2-5 when favored by 10 points or less.

It's looking more and more like a loss for us. We have been hit with the injury bug. Yes, we are going to get the suspended guys for this game, but we also had them for Tennessee.

Agreed. I’m probably canceling soon. I liked it a lot more before the genespage crew came over.

Beating Arkansas just means we aren’t completely in the shitter yet.

so you are advocating for 4 guys trying to get pressure on a QB? They opposing offenses might as well set up a microwave behind the QB to pop some popcorn while he decides where to throw it... Have you seen our tackling in space these are 19 year old kids playing they aren't full grown 22 year olds that have had time in the system to get strong. i'm sure it would be much better with Grantham tho

I agree, but it might not be against OM. need to get more pressure on their 3rd string QB to force some mistakes.

A win over Arkansas is going to be a testament to how much our freshman starters care and effort they put in. It may not mean much to you, but there are a lot of young guys out there that will take pride in winning this game. We need to continue to support these guys. There will be and currently are some studs in that class that will only get better. I'm glad they are getting to see what it takes.
