1) Josh Robinson deserves to start IMO. He was able to move the football after contact.

2) the D looks VERY improved. Hopefully the injuries are all minor. Ill give the secondary a pass this game considering they are all young and inexperienced. Collins is a way better caller than Wilson.

3) Les Keonning needs to go. 5 years of this horse shite play calling. Nothing innovative, exciting or even effective in a game. It felt like I was watching a croom coached game.

4) this coaching staff needs to get away from "if its broke lets try it again" to "if its broke lets fix it"

5) NO MORE SPECIAL UNIFORMS, HELMETS OR ANYTHING ELSE.

6) Mullen needs to call plays from here on out.

This game as a complete let down. I am seriously ashamed of the team. Hats off to OSU defense for playing well and physical and capitalizing on outer MANY mistakes. Hopefully all the injured guys can get back to action soon. Mullen needs to right this ship quick because I will be calling for his head if it doesn't.

Those helmets should be burned.

No flame but why do you say this? When you give up over 100 yards rushing to a QB, 286 rushing yards total and 432 yards of total offense, it's hard to say it was "very" improved

When you're nearly constantly going 3 and out that's gonna happen. Our defense didn't falter until they ran the three back package, and just wore down after that. Our offense put our defense in bad situations(although I'm not convinced that will be fixed).

Yes OSU averages close to 50 pts a game a year ago and had all of their main guys back. I was definitely pleased with the defensive effort. A couple of big runs by the QB, on miss-containment by our ends, were the only glaring mistakes. We played much more aggressive and were flying around the ball. Night and day from last year. Like the other guy said, when your offense can't stay on the field for a first down on several consecutive drives, the D will eventually get gassed. Our offense and offensive play calling was as bad as I've seen in a long time.

According to ED Mullen was calling the plays today. Take that for what it's worth

You must have not seen our defense much last year.

They looked much better in the first half and were gassed by the end of the 3rd. We had the ball I think for 2:30 in the 3rd. Those are all big boys playing a lot of snaps. Compared to last year they look MUCH MUCH better. Offense needs to get figured out in a big way and fast. Hopefully the injury bug fricks off as well.

As far as Mullen goes I have no idea if he was calling plays or not but it doesn't seem like there would be a need for Keonning if he were calling them. I guess we will find out next week.

IIRC in 2008 I think Meyer took over play calling after the Ole Miss game because Mullen was calling plays in that game. I could have that backwards though so don't quote me on that.
