Ole Miss is in a spot they haven't been with Freeze which is having specific needs. They aren't in a spot where they just sign every highly rated guy they can. I'm curios to see how Freeze does this year. Remember when MSU fans made fun of OM for signing 32 RBs in 2 years?

This is a good point, had not thought about that.

We've been in constant talks with Spivey over the last couple weeks and our guys believe he is really close to picking up an offer. Idk what position we want him for though bc y'all are right it's definitely not QB.

Kendrick Igbinoba, a running back/athlete from Texas, has decided to walk-on.

Kid will be lucky if he ever dresses out for an SEC game.

That was my point. He'll praise a NR/2* signee from Mize, MS with offers from Alcorn State and USM 'cause "Dan finds dem DIaMonDz!!!111" but a walk-on, who had interest from a lot of good schools and offers from several decent schools, won't ever even get to dress out.

Yeah, that walk-on looks pretty legit to me... Put some weight on him and make him a fullback. Seems perfect for that role.

We are a spread team becoming LOADED AT RN AND WR I just don't see the use in a FB in our offense we aren't running pro style power I

You must have missed all the time Shump lined up at FB last year -- including our one regulation TD in the Egg Bowl. I'd much rather a walk-on be taking that pounding than a scholarship guy that's a huge part of the future of our program. We are not a "spread" team -- we are a POWER TEAM that lines up in a spread formation.

Our running game overall went downhill as soon as we went away from using a FB when Hanrahan left. With all power guys, we are going to use one a good bit going forward.

We did complain a lot about Perkins, but Dixon and Ballard did have a fullback leading the way. Auburn had a helluva FB this past year, and he was instrumental in their running game.

This kid obviously has talent at blocking. I like kids that like to hit. He could become a special teams warrior.

Flipping the crystal ball predictions to us and writing about how we're setting up for a great 2015 class.
