Played against him in high school. I played LB and he made me look silly on more than one occasion.

MC Miller just took the job as AD and Connor promoted to HC.

Louisville usually has strong teams, but who was the last player from there to pan out?

It's been a while.. It seems like it would always come down to grades and the guys that had a chance to play SEC ball never could make the grades in the end. Sad, really.

The last one I remember playing division 1 football was Mantrell Ledbetter at Utah

If you took that from Yancy as fact, you may want to double check.

ETA- Yancy just wanted to make the flock feel better about losing a huge lead on Jones. MC Miller still the HC per news this morning.

After reading Steve's article and watching the highlights, I want to go ahead and lock up this DE from Yazoo City...

Per Paul Jones:

quote:

I called M.C. and he said he retired from TEACHING ONLY. He continues to be the football coach and AD but those are his only duties now. Sad that a network allows people to report info like that without any consequences.

quote:

And to add, Omarr is still a bit away from finishing up his degree in teaching/coaching. He was majoring in something else and changed once he wanted to start coaching. So that is an obvious lie from OM media, as usual. But with MSU's start and soon-to-be more success in the in-state 2015 class, these kind of lies will continue throughout.

Paul does not really try to be unbiased in his observations.

ETA: Which I guess is fairly par for the course.

Gabriel Campbell

quote:

He is a big fan of former Yazoo City and MSU standout Fletcher Cox, as well. He said he isn't sure when he might make a decision but added that he is "sure loving Mississippi State". He is going to see Auburn next weekend and then returning to see MSU on March 8th.
