I'm hoping we can land a couple of good OL in this class. Im also hearing that J'Mar Smith from Meridian could end up being our QB hes very similar to Dak.

J'Mar Smith JR Highlights

That would require Mullen beating someone he's not favored against.

If the defense is solid, far-fetched results come closer to reality.

(In other words, do not let Collins get away.)

The Grindrant can start a fund to send to the Bulldog Club if Mullen ever beats a team he is not favored against.

I'll personally fund the Mullen Statue if he ever beats LSU.

He just accomplished that in the last game we played...

But I agree. I think the 2015 class has potential to be the best we've ever seen at MSU -- but we need to keep perspective on where we are currently at with this stuff. Actually signing Moton is probably a pretty long shot. Holding McNair is probably going to prove difficult as well unless he just goes into a shell and doesn't camp anywhere. Kid has to literally drive through Gainesville, Tallahassee, and Tuscaloosa to get to our campus. And if he's what his highlights make him appear to be, I'm pretty dang confident that we don't end up as his only offer. Then, Johnson is from deep in Ole Miss territory -- and things would probably get pretty interesting if/when they offer him.

That said -- I'm certainly enjoying where we're at right now -- with the opportunity to really capture some hype on the field next year and parlay it in recruiting leading into a 2015 season. Feels good to be trending back up a little bit...

Are you going to allow Bundy to jinx an entire recruiting class with this thread?

Unfortunately I cannot "admin" parts of his posts.

So what is considered State's best recruiting class going by stars and not diamonds? Jackie's class that had Darren Williams, Byrdsong, Money Man Turner, Jerious or Culberson, Omarr, Deljuan?
