We already have 4, and with as many 4 star in state kids there are in the 2014 class it is certainly possible. Probable? No. Possible? Yes.

Perspective from a recruit's dad

Let's add a little more to this. It's not just any recruit's dad. This is Sean Rawlings' dad. An Ole Miss Alumni lawyer. Now read the post again. I'd say that's some pretty positive comments considering the source.

You sarcastically posted

To which I replied with actual evidence that he, in fact, cannot recruit.

I thought the same thing. I guess he is talking about the new playoff system.

Oh well I guess that would be the same response. So this ole miss attorney alum is calling for state to be in the bcs playoffs every year? Sounds legit.

Give him a break. He's a newly-converted and somewhat older Ole Miss fan. He's used to always thinking that imminent championships are on the horizon.

The only issue is that this recruit has no other SEC offers at the moment. That probably sort of slants things on how the recruit's Dad feels about Mullen and staff.

Except Bundy.

It's sad we are so bad at recruiting that everytime we get a a big time commit we are just all waiting around for him to decommit.

Yeah we all figured it was coming. However, I still think we'll be a factor until the end with him. It can't hurt that he was committed to us for a little while I guess.

Yeah...I am guessing he was probably getting harassed by LSU fans constantly. Maybe we will be in on it at the end, but I doubt it.

I think we could end up with 7 or so 4 star recruits in the 2015 class (I think J'Mar Smith will probably get bumped up a star). Maybe more if Mullen actually pulls in Leo Lewis and/or Jamal Peters.

I'm not gonna lie, the biggest want on my list is a couple 4 star or better OL. I think we can do ok everywhere else on a pretty regular basis but that is a position where I would like to see our recruiting improve.

So Jessie Jackson's teammate at Petal would be a great start.

I've learned to pretty much ignore early verbals from out of state players. It's become too predictable. As long as we recruit smart, I don't care so much about stars. But I will admit that when we struggle to get highly touted recruits at positions that we're normally very good at, it gets irritating. I don't blame this on our staff either.
