Cohen needs to give Dan some notes on recruiting.

More like Cohen needs to give Dan a top 10 program nationally to recruit with.

Yea that would be nice, but in reality, if Byrne did his homework then he knew from the start that recruiting is not the major strength of Mullen as a coach. Need to lay on the charm and charisma in the recruiting process and that's not something that Dan is gifted with apparently. But all that said his classes have been OK, not at the level we need to challenge the SEC elite but OK.

Aeris Williams last night in a 33-55 loss to South Panola:

32 rushes, 194 yards, 4 TD's
5 catches, 34 yards
4 Returns, 51 yards

279 All Purpose Yards

Jamoral Graham in 47-14 win over Neshoba Central last week

3 rushes, 75 yards(64 long), 1 TD
2 catches, 37 yards(28 long), 1 TD
7 tackles, 2 TFL

Nick Fitzgerald won his game last night 29-7. Started first half with 5 carries for -21 yards, then got 126 yards on 10 carries and 2 TD's in second half. I can't find any passing stats for him, but the article I've found says his school runs the triple option. I'm betting we put this kid at WR unless he bulks up to a TE.

Updated to reflect Gerri Green's bump and Braxton's commitment, as well as changed Elijah's Basketball weight to match his football weight.

The Wildcats added another score halfway through the third with Fitzgerald back under center. The 6-foot-5 signal caller reeled off another impressive run, cutting his way around defenders and winning the footrace for a 71-yard touchdown to push the advantage to 28-0.

Fitzgerald finished the night 4-of-7 passing for 102 yards with two touchdowns and added a pair of rushing scores, toting the ball four times for 137 yards.

“Nick had a phenomenal game, both throwing and running,” Guy said. “And we’ve got a couple guys we can distribute the ball to, and they can take it the distance as well.”

Aeris and Shump are going to make a hell of a backfield. MSU should just stick to being a rushing offense. We always have good running backs.

No mention of Rick Ray's unofficial visitor list this past weekend?

Composite #1 Malik Newman and #52 KeVaughn Allen were both unofficially on campus for the football game...
