Lololololololol

Paul Jones hasn't said that...and that's the only place I will spend $$...which is why I'm asking if it's being reported elsewhere.

National 300 OL Jake Thomas talks commitment (FREE Read)LINK
quote:

While the outcome may come as no surprise, the timing of Jake Thomas' commitment to Mississippi State may catch a few off guard. Thomas had toyed with the notion of making a post season decision, but the Columbus High star made the call earlier today.

Jake Thomas profile
In an earlier interview, Thomas reported, "There's no reason not to say Mississippi State is my top school."

That sentiment carried through today's announcement.

"Mississippi State has the home field advantage when it comes to recruiting in state," said Thomas. "I just like it over there a lot.

"I don't know. It just feels like home."

Thomas had been back and forth about making the call prior to the season, the drama is now over.

"I'm really happy," said a relieved Thomas. "I had been thinking about it a lot lately. I just didn't see any reason to put it off anymore.

"What better time than now?"

Throughout the process the Bulldogs were considered a favorite thanks in large part to the recruiting efforts of offensive line coach John Hevesy.

"You know I wasn't even his player yet, but he coached me like I was," said Thomas of Hevesy. "No other coach really did that to me.

"We just have a great relationship."

Thomas was able to inform Coach Hevesy and Coach Dan Mullen of his intentions to join the Bulldogs earlier today.

"I talked to Coach Mullen and Coach Hevesy, just a few minutes ago," said Thomas. "They were both really excited.

"I am glad to have this done now.

"Football season starts for us this week. We play Aberdeen this Friday, so now I can focus on all of that."

Thomas joins fellow instate big men Jamaal Clayborn, Kent Flowers and Deon Mix as part of an impressive O line haul for the Bulldogs.

With his commitment, Jake becomes the 19th pledge towards the 2013 signing class for Mississippi State.

Thomas is the ninth Mississippi high school offensive lineman to commit to a FBS program prior to the season.

The national 300 OL chose Mississippi State over offers from Ole Miss and Southern Miss.

Techinically it will be over Quay but in his own end zone after Quadry Antoine gets a hold of him.
