I see it being more of a sales pitch.

Autry won't be one and done, but he will be a very good player this year.

I agree. I think we are using the one and done sales pitch to bring in Smith. I'm sure we are telling him that Autry may be a one and done and the same can be said for him if he chooses State, which is exactly what he wants to hear.
I'm not saying that Autry will not be one and done, but I think it's more of a sales pitch and not popular opinion.

We don't need a sales pitch, McCardell is a SR so there's a spot right there.

Don't need a sales pitch when going up against FSU? Give me a break.

What if FSU is graduating two DEs or one DE? Still don't need a sales pitch?

He's not one of our other recruits that we are batting over against Troy and South Alabama. He has other offers; therefore, you use every pitch that you have.

I guess people are forgetting that McPhee was at State for two years, not one.

Not forgetting that at all. There is no rule saying he has to stay 2 years. JUCO guys leave after one year at the same rate that normal players go as JR's, the sample size is just much smaller.

Pernell was a late-round pick after year 2, meaning he got a late round draft grade after year one. People think Denico could end up with a much higher draft grade(almost all State JRs get this info). I'd be THRILLED to have him for 2 years, and for his career path to be identical to McPhee. I would actually prefer that to him blowing up this year and being gone, trust me.

I just wouldn't make that assumption just yet based on the general feeling around our camp...

Pernell and Denico are two very different athletes. Pernell has some good speed, but his strength was more of the focus point with Denico. Pernell's about 6'4 280-290, and he runs a 4.8ish. Autry on the other hand is around 6'6 240-250 and he's supposed to run in the upper 4.5 lower 4.6 range, and he's a heck of a lot quicker.

Not sure about Rumph but Ja'Darius Smith and Ashton Shumpert along with most of our commits will be visiting for the Auburn game.

True, I've been busy this morning and missed them, but I do know that the Auburn game/weekend will be HUGE for recruits and we may lock up 2 that day.

So you're telling me your buddies in Tupelo, Aberdeen, Meridian, South Panola, Jackson, Madison, Greenville, Laurel, etc. were actually Paul Jones?
