You think this is the coaches going for a double here? Getting Uric but also trying to get his 2014 teammate who already has offers from LSU, bama and arkansas according to rivals

My thoughts exactly. His teammate is expected to be one of the top 2014 guys

I don't know if we are or aren't, but I know Arkansas ain't got a shot in hell.

Yall's recruiting is stinking it up again.

I think he's laughing at you for using a player you are more than likely not going to get as an excuse to sign Jones

Jones is 6'6" 250 with a lot of potential. I'd rather have him than the 5'11" and 6' DTs you guys have committed.

Well I wouldn't. Seeing as our staff knows more about talent evaluation than you and I.

Ohh definately! The fact that the SEC is LOADED with short D-Linemen backs your side in this argument.

I highly doubt our coaching staff will sign Uric just to have a chance at his teammate. I think they like Uric and it just so happens his teammate is good as well

the shorter the DT, the lower the center of gravity, the harder it can be for OLs to move them around. Also, taller guys can sometimes play up-right.

DEs obviously a different story, and tall dudes can definitely work out inside as well... but sometimes being shorter on the interior DL is a plus.
