The fact that he didn't commit could mean that he wants a big commitment ceremony at his school, as most kids do.
I think he's Texas bound. I hope I'm wrong. I know we are recruiting him as a DT and Texas is recruiting him as a C, and you would think that would help us, but
the fact that he constantly says he doesn't care what position he plays at the next level concerns me.

Also, why do people keep saying Uric Jones has a committable offer? He is a down the line fallback plan who is probably Oxford bound

So i've never heard of this Ulric Jones guy you speak of but I just looked him up on Rivals and it doesnt even mention Ole Miss? What am I missing?
It shows an offer from MSU and then a handful of other schools he is interested in but no OM?
I'm a rivals subscriber and the name doesnt ring a bell. Not even sure i've heard chase or neal mention him. Maybe Im wrong though.

Between Eulls and Smith being Sophomores, Jefferson being a freshman, us signing Chris Jones and this new Simpson kid, us having a chance(although slight) of Denico coming back, and Za'Darius still being on the board I really don't think we need to sign a defensive end right now.

He's a great player, but I feel like he's more of a runstop DE and he'd fit more in a 3-4.

True...
We've got a lot of run stoppers on the DL, but very little in the form of elite outside pass rush talent. It's literally Autry and no one else(that's stepped up anyway). Missing on Ward last year was huge for this reason, IMO. Hopefully, Chris Jones can eventually grow into this role. We can't keep relying on elite JUCO talent to step into this role and bail us out every year like we've done since 2009.
Was a huge hole on our team last year, and Auburn/Arky made us feel the pain from it too...
