Behind even Vanderbilt. Currently at 42nd
Arnett needs to go. Nothing positive in the future after this years team is gone. Failing in every way imaginable. Wheels are coming off completely, better to start the rebuild now rather than wait 2 years and be deeper in the hole

Agree. Nothing against him, but his quick hire in the face of Leech’s death was a mistake for a SEC university not to do a full job search. Said so then. Poor decision.

Our hands were tied. It was what it was. But it's why his contract was structured this way for a quick exit.

We need to do it quick so that they can start the search.
Also we will be replacing more than the head coach so getting one that can pull quality coordinators and people who can recruit the portal will be key.

I'd like to believe they're doing that now but not publicly.
I'm not sure of any realistic candidates I'd even be thrilled about.

Zach Kittley, Texas Tech OC. I like his offense but just little experience in coaching.
Adam Fuller, Florida State DC was at Memphis. Knows the area?
Slade Nagle, Tulane OC. Louisiana guy with a lot of coaching experince.
I just don't know. Gamble on a coordinator or hire a retread.
