Andrew Ivins, a U. Miami insider, just CB'd with a level 5 confidence Shemar Stewart to LSU. Who is Stewart you may ask? Oh, he's only the number 1 overall player in 2022 according to 247.

247

Getting back to the back number one recruits with foreman and Stewart would be huge

Once they commit to LSU they won't be #1, you guys know this.

Switching to the 4-3 is playing out exactly like Coach O thought it would!! He said it would help in recruiting and is gonna help give us a dominant D-Line that LSU is known for great move by coach

It will be fun seeing 247s bullshite excuses though. They lost a lot of cred when they moved Alfono above Stingley.

The gump downvoters read this board more than their own.

If they were to commit to LSU, they go from #1 recruits to 4 star. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Foreman, and Stewart in back to back classes, would seriously mean LSU is about to start a run like Alabama and Clemson have recently done. It’s absolutely crazy we’re here talking about LSU possibility getting the #1 overall recruit in back to back classes.

A guy I talk to about some recruits says as of now he says LSU getting his signature in the long run. Its one of the last slides on his story.

Long, lean, muscular defensive lineman with no bad weight, an imposing frame, long arms and thick lower half. Body type has the potential to continue to bulk up as a jumbo edge rusher or even kick inside long term given early stage of his development. Plays to his size on film. Brutish pass rusher that has an effective long-arm, can walk offensive tackles back to the quarterback and can win with speed. Has top end combine athleticism. Controls and sheds blocks effectively against the run. Has downfield speed in pursuit. Very limited nuance or finesse in his pass rush. Has some stiffness in space. Plays too high right now but can get away with it. Impact Power Five starter with the potential to be a first round NFL Draft pick and a candidate to be a future No. 1 overall pick but needs continued refinement over the next two years to approach that kind of ceiling.
