Wiltjer transferring

WLEX just reported that the big man is definitely leaving UK. Coach Cal's website had previously said Wiltjer was reviewing his options.
I'm betting he'll go to Gonzaga.

Both statements didn't have a definite plan. I think he goes, but they both left the option for him to return.

As I said on Belle's thread on the rant, I hate to see him go, but he was a defensive liability, and that was going to continue to hurt his PT. I wish him well.

Yeah he has friends at Gonzaga and he's playing with Pangos now on the Canadian National Team I believe.
The good thing is that it's all likely because Poythress is coming around and Randle is playing well in summer workouts too. From all accounts Poythress has had a fire lit under his arse and is putting the work in.
If Poythress' work off the court translates on the court then it'll be worth it in spades. We need Poythress playing well more so then we need Wiltjer playing well IMO.

Any new news on Wiltjer? I heard the other day on local radio that he might be staying after all.

He has officially left campus and is transferring to Gonzaga
