Week 3 review and look ahead.....

Well, I was quite impressed with how this team survived the first couple of series (the long TD and the interception), and then shut down SC for the rest of the game. Samuels was eating good before he got hurt (I hate that for him and SC by the way).
This week is streak week. UK should end the streak this week. I was in Gainesville Saturday for that wild game, and it was awful till the 4th quarter. Neither offense was very good. Florida does have a decent running back, but I thought our offense is better than theirs, especially if our D plays like it did in Columbia.
Can we break the streak? Yes. Will we? Don't know.
This team should have a ton of confidence, and while Florida got help from Butch to win, they might be overthinking their abilities, which would be in our favor.
Got to control the ball, sustained drives resulting in points. That is the key for me.
I'll be at Mark Stoops radio show live tonight. Should be a lot of fun.

I have a feeling in the thursday news feed the Gators will release a statement saying all Gator players will be eligible play. Would be great to end the streak tho.

I don't think there is any doubt they will be a full strength. Last weekend was a huge scare, and they won't take that chance again.

Well to be honest Florida, even when they have won, have looked like hot dog mess.
It just so happened that the rapidly fading Vols looked like an even bigger pile of hot dog mess.
Arkansas had a long losing streak against Florida going into last year and we won by running the ball and slapping them around. Newsflash, we were fairly shitty last year.
If you go into the game with the intent to punch Florida in the mouth and take their lunch money I think you win. You have the better team this year, the more gutsy team. Kick their arse and take their wallet.
Establish the run, build up a two score lead, and I think this Gator's team fades. If you control the pace of the game and have sustained drives they can't answer with what we have seen from this year.

I hope and think this is the mentality this team will have to use. And if they execute, I think they can win the game.
