If you start a game thread, you have to finish it, unless it's a medical emergency. Even if your power goes out, smart phones exist, no excuses.

Game threads are sacred like wedding vows and should not be undertaken lightly. If you start one you should already plan to see it through to the end while observing the proper way to do a thread title, and keep it reasonably updated.
