Was Alabama's Original Recruiting Thread Locked Due to Jealousy?

I don't have a dog in the hunt, but I see several other schools' recruiting threads have not been anchored. 
Was Bama's locked because it was so epic? Made everyone elses' look bad? Spare me the "copyrighted info was posted" bs - that info could have just been deleted without locking the thread.
The biases appears to be strong with Chicken.
Either make this a LSU board completely or treat everyone fairly.

It was over 1000 pages of nothing.
Who would sort through that to find something of interest? I don't have that kind if time.

It turned into an IM and pissing match. Very little recruiting info.

You serious Clark? The good posters on the board will not back u up on this stupid shite because its false. I have seen admins go out of their way to be more lenient to non-LSU fans.

It was NOT 1000 page of "nothing".
I understand some of it may not be recruiting info...but if you stop and think about why it was so.... you will realize there were camaraderie and personal interaction where the usual suspects came to gather during the lull of recruiting.
It was a house to you-- home to them.
I know..i know...you want recruiting info. The IM thread is for the other stuff. Fair enough....

I've been wondering the same thing, Garfield. The recruiting board just isn't as appealing now.
