It is what it is. The SEC Rant is and always will be something like:
50% substantive SEC sports discussion
20% fishing/trolling/flaming
20% just for fun / offseason topics / everything else SEC related
10% iming
Considering that the SEC Rant brings hundreds if not thousands of regular fanatics of opposing teams together into one message board, I think the admins have done an awesome job at maintaining order for those who want to have serious discussion while also not being dictators who stamp out the fun and ability to have open, heated arguments. It's a thin line to navigate and it's not a science.
If you don't like how the SEC Rant is during a particular day, take a day or a week off and come back. This place ebbs and flows with good discussion and flame threads. Grow some skin and sit back and just enjoy it. Talk about 21st century / 1st world problems. Oh, and Wild Thing, stfu, you are not the one to talk about anything being shitty on this site.

Out of the last 50 threads I have started, only one was a flame, and I made that thread in direct response to a thread that was a flame to Arkansas.
Without "posters like me" there wouldn't be a SEC Rant. Why haven't you posted for 9 months anyway? All I remember you doing on the SECrant is flaming Arkansas fans, and you weren't even good at that.

And Jon, it is sad what you have become. Do you remember me asking you if you were a reporter? I thought your fall reports were well done and informative.
I'm not sure what happened to you. You, from my reading the last few months, have dropped down to the Latarian/Sugatown/Woopig level. That is a shame because those posters are straight garbage.

Diversifying the admins would be a huge improvement for tSEC Rant. The LSU bias in the administration causes the board to lose credibility. The place has gone downhill a lot in the lady year or so.

It'd be nice if you could generate Auburn only topics on the team page. Make it to where you could only post there if you had the Auburn team identifier on your TD screen name and give each team their own ADMIN. I don't want a homer site or page, but it'd be nice to have honest, critical conversations about football without some trailer park 13yr old shitting all over it like is inevitable on the SECr.
