SECr OT lounge

I know this topic has been brought up before, but I think the SECr needs an OT lounge. It would be a great place to keep up with news around the SEC that isn't sports related, such as Bama fans robbing banks in their Bama gear. Threads like that could eventually lead to the arrest of criminals.
The SECr is the only site on the interwebz where fans of all SEC schools congregate to discuss sports. I think that allowing us a place to discuss more light-hearted events that aren't flame wars is a good idea. Hell, I'll even admin it if you want me to.
Please consider it Cluckster. I think it would benefit us all and keep some of the nonsense off of the SECr.

yes, we have been planning to do that at some point...as we increase the number of forums, however, we need a better handle on how the navigation is laid out on the left side and on mobile. Stay tuned...

We just had a very informative thread about a Gump that robbed a bank wearing his Gump gear that was wacked. Threads like that are informative and are needed on this site.
Are you aware of how many people in Alabama get arrested while wearing Bama gear? Not only is it Internet gold, it can help lead to the conviction of criminals.

Not for me (not a big IMer)
I would like the SECr community to have it's own OT, with specific non-sports related discussions.
I've been pushing for this for a while.

How was the thread titled? Was it three words or less? Did it start or turn into a flame thread?

It was titled appropriately. It just wasn't sports related. There is a Gump bank robber on the loose. He is probably using the money to buy spike and antifreeze to kill our trees and Mike. He could have been identified, but now there is no hope.

I'll argue with anyone if I question the reasoning behind an idea or request.
I don't see the reasoning for an SEC OT board. If its SEC related it should be on the SEC rant. Why do we need a board for Off topic SEC events if it is on topic since it's SEC related?

What are your reasons for not wanting a SECr OT board? I listed my reasons why I think we need one. The ball is in your court......
