You people really just need to accept that not everybody likes texas. Life is full of diverse opinions and tastes. It's normal. If you like texas that's great. You can have it.

No, you need to accept that we Texans will always prefer our state over wherever you're from, and remind you of that fact constantly. It really doesn't matter if you like Texas or not. We don't care. Deal with it.

I already understood that. That was the whole point behind that particular line of posting, i.e to try to help give you an understanding of how that conversation sounds on the other side.

That's all fine and good, I just hope you realize you're as "vapid and purposeless" as you accuse me of being since most of my posts directed at you have been simply me shinning a mirror on "that" kind of texan, a box you seem to fit in quite nicely.
As for your point, the day that texas hicks and I start seeing eye to eye is the day I need to re-evaluate my life.

I've never said this.
Obviously Louisiana is my home so I have personal feelings, friends, family, memories tied up in that. So sure for me it's better but I don't think the average person would find most of Louisiana to be all that great unless they are hardcore alcoholics.
