Avatar Image Not Appropriate

I've had this image as my avatar image for 5 years but today I received a message saying it isn't appropriate and I should choose a new one.
A.) Is this Admin discretion?
B.) Is there a policy or list on what is acceptable for an avatar and what isn't? Outside of size/bandwidth?

I personally feel that not being able to use this image is weak especially after using it for 5 years.

Did you post on a board other than SECrant? If so, you were probably RAd by a bunch of pussies. Happened to me with a sig pic. I’ve been banned from tiger rant for like 3 or 4 years now

It’s most likely the size. My avatar and sig pics have been removed a few times because it wasn’t the “appropriate” size. Even though I’ve had them for each over a year prior to the removal.
