I'm not sure the crowd didn't hand Brooks that trophy.
DJ damn near shanks his tee shot on 17 when some yahoo yells at the top of his backswing. Then again at 18.
I know, Koepka was the best player all week and deserved to win, but that behavior was BS

Not in his backswing, nope.
I kept having the same thoughts about the Ryder Cup. It's going to be cringeworthy TV. Can't wait
ETA: I'm sure they did yell during Brooks swing at some point as well. The whole thing was over the line, imo.

I followed Bruce, Frankie, and Tiger for a few holes on Friday. The amount of noise and talking while Bruce and Frankie were trying to hit was insane, while it was mostly quiet for Tiger. At one point I guy yelled “I love you tiger” while frankie was about to take his club back. shite was ridiculous.

Frankie was actually a great sport. He joked with the fans some and laughed at quite a few of the dumb things people were screaming. He seems like a good dude.

There’s actually a ton of noise at golf tournaments and the players have gotten used to playing through it. At this point fans don’t need to be quiet, they just need to avoid loud or sudden noises that can cause a player to flinch while swinging.

hard to believe that a pro golfer would have such a low level of concentration that they would be affected by any noise, constant or sudden, or be able to block it out...
