Grantham?

Vandy had 287 total yards(Vandy QBs avg'd 4.5 yards a pass) , 2 turnovers with zero points. Ppl still blaming TG on team performance.
Held UK to 56 yards a qtr last week n ppl were still trashing the defense

I admit in the past I went after TG, but this aint the year. The Defense has been playing well especially with many first yr starters

Outside of the false starts this is the best oline we have had under Mullen.

OL (outside of these last 2 weeks) and defense have played well for the most part.

There are several fundamental schematic issues the defense has in terms of personnel that can only be fixed by recruiting.

Not the DC

Vandy had 4.4 per pass and 2.6 per rush.. EJ had 12.4 yards per.

Sit down before you hurt yourself.

So the guy over the defense, isn’t in charge of the defense…

And it’s fricking vandy!!!

They should have abysmal stats. If you are happy with that level of defense we’ve fielded this year then you are clueless on what defense is supposed to look like. But I’ll sit down because you’re not worth arguing with.

So, you admit they do? Thanks for proving me right
Vandy had an abysmal game offensively. Your own words.

What do you think position coaches do?
Fans like you are why Spurrier and Urban left, 42 point win and youre in here crying/bitching like we lost

There are plenty of people who do analysis on florida who legit hate grantham who can admit the defense is a lot better this year on film.

Long term grantham is not a championship coach tho because of his apparent weakness in putting a sound defensive strategy on the field.

But regardless they are playing way better this year.

That’s my point. Just because he has a “decent” defense every couple of years doesn’t give him a bye for years like last year. This isn’t a bottom dwelling basketball school we are talking about.

Grantham's fate probably depends on the LSU and Georgia games. A bad showing against Georgia might be enough to get him booted. Mullen is pretty loyal to assistants but if the noise is loud enough he may have to move on. Having said that the defense has played good the last 2 1/2 games.

As much as I have given alot of grief to Grantham over the past few years. The Defense has not been the problem they have played very well this year basically the only half they have not played well was the first half of the Bama game.

They played more them well enough last week against Tucky and ill admit the first half was a little shaky but they still played well.

It's the offense tjis year that is not good and abysmal at times
Sorry guys as bad as LSWHO has looked I'm worried about that game. I've been waiting for Florida to put together a complete game hope it starts Saturday.

Anyone know the status of elam will he be back at practice and play this week.

I was really surprised that Elam didn’t play yesterday, but Mullen probably felt he wasn’t needed too badly and gave him the game off. I’m sure he’ll be there on the field against LSU. Dan may be stubborn but he’s not stupid. He’ll not repeat the same mistake as last year sitting Pitts.

You actually think the DC who COORDINATES the Defense is the guy who runs each position group through their individual drills??
