Davis or Pease?

Muschamp will need to give somebody the ax this week to take some of the heat off himself.

This is pathetic. We're looking at a 6-6 season (7-5 at best) with the most pathetic offense I've ever seen. The most talented player we have is only in there due to injury and is still only splitting carries with a completely ineffective back.

I don't care that we went 11-2 last season. This is unacceptable, and I can't see it getting much better with the way we've been recruiting and developing the OL. Muschamp's seat needs to be on fire.

both, along with our o-line

But he's going to need to fire someone after the UGA & f$u game as well

Muschamp better start a little lower on the totem pole before firing Pease. If he starts firing that high this early he'll have to fire himself by mid November

Yes. Plan all along was Joker to take over for Pease after this yr. Why delay the inevitable?

Wonder how much (if at all) Muschamp is handicapping Pease's play calling. Regardless, I agree Pease gets fired first, Joker gets promoted to OC, and Champ gets 1 more year.

Davis and Pease should be getting their own way home from MO and their bags should be packed in G'ville.

Boom is next.

We need to get away from all these former Kentucky coaches. Who here thinks Joker will be that much more of an improvement over Pease? Our Wr's aren't exactly great.
Tim Davis the OLine coach should be fired before the team reaches the airport.

Davis should be made to turn in his gator gear before leaving the locker room.

The WRs are by far our best offensive unit.

That Paton kid is a stud. Getting him involved more seems like a no brainer.

It's tough to get him the ball when your QB has half a second to throw, though.

Mizzou's D-line is very good, and our O-line is very bad.

Sadly that may be true. But that is like saying my shite smells better than your shite.
In the end it's still just a pile of shite.

Was he the WR who took the sweep for like 17 yards? Players like him you can do screens or sweep routes and let him just make something happen. Also thought Murhpy had some running room early in the game had he decided to take off. Playing him scared the crap out of me because the athletic QBs Mizzou faced early in the year burned us.

He was hurt. Not going to run and further injure himself.

Road Gator and I are thinking much alike...I would make Pease and Davis both catch a bus home and have their crap packed for them when they arrived in Gville.

Those of you who are younger don't know about 1979, a winless season, or 1989 when we had qbs who couldn't hit the broadside of a barn at 10 paces. Well....welcome to the offense of 1979 and 1989 (even though we had Emmitt...any tough team would stack the line and not let us run....sound familiar?)

I have been patient because our defense is tough as nails...we even had special teams score and a pick inside their side of the 50 yd line. Our defense's poor showing is understandable because of Damien Jacobs and Ron Powell being out...we were so thin on the DL that we needed our offense to at least pick up a few first downs to give em a breather.
Our OL is horrible...absolutely horrible. Tyler Moore played at Clearwater Countryside and I know several people very familiar with the program...what they told me before the season started does not not surprise me when I look at what has happened at ROT...we will leave it at that.

I hurts to see what has happened lately.
Any kind of potent offense and we would be kicking major arse. Watching qbs like Nick Marshall at AU light up A&M...or even Mauck at Mizzou..its hard to not get frustrated.

We blow the perfect chance to be right there in the east chase with a win...Vandy beats UGA (which I kinda predicted back in August) and UT beats USC. The east wont be easy next year as we travel to UT, Bama, Vandy, etc etc but at least we have LSU at home.

It's more who do we keep.

Joker - One year in our wrs are insanely better...he is the new oc. Do it fricking now.
Brian white - Every group he coaches is successful. I don't blame him for the Rb this year cause I guarantee he knew Taylor was the best back on this team. He is a stud coach.
Lawling - proven and dline looks good on the outside
Robinson - Db play a little disappointing but he can recruit. Sounds weird to say but our corners besides hargreaves have been average in coverage.

That's it. Fire the rest. Muschamp, Davis, pease, Lewis

Still unsure on durkin. He is too conservative for dc but he is a great lb and special teams coach. Id like to keep and move back, if he won't then toss him.

Then throw Money. Go for an offensive mind. We won't get Peterson or Sumlin...but bobby petrino is out there. I'd take him in a Freaking second. No defensive mind...our team is great with offensive minds. Get a good dc and hire a top flight offensive mind...no fricking cords

If you hire a new coach, you can't force them to keep the staff. I would like to see Joker stay, but he can get a job as an OC. He probably came here with the understanding that he would replace Pease.
