Just watching a 3 run homer against. UK at a local bar and grill. And yes I’m only 2 tall blue moons into being totally wasted!!!

Very un-Gator like game last night in Starkville. Led 3-0 and were cruising when the bottom fell out. We need to win at least one this weekend to keep momentum going into the tournaments. I know Miss State needs the wins worse than we do but "Come on Guys!"

LSU fans are all giddy about last night, but truth is they could have stayed in the dugout and watched UF self destruct with throwing errors, balks, pass balls and balls flying behind LSUs heads, a nightmare game.

Auburn had like four plays that could have blown the doors wide off if they hadn't made acrobatic, diving catches all over the field. We were literally inches away all night.
They had luck on their side, too, and it got balanced out by the end of the night.

AU was tough, I was nervous all game. What a great game to watch even if you were an AU fan...nothing for them to hang their heads about.
Bryne and Leftwich were money all game and kept it close. AU made a mistake putting Bull in..Langworthy got him for a homeroom the night before
The steal from third was a classic and fooled the starting pitcher badly for AU.

We have a pitching staff no team can match when we play well overall...but like everything...defense needs to help out pitching and we need RBIs from hitters.

The defense has even uncharacteristically bad and the bats haven't been awake since the Mississippi State series.
I did see today that after the last loss for Singer we went on a 9 game winning streak. Here's to hoping we have another streak in us and get this train turned around.

Great team, peaked too early, never could regain the momentum, but great season. Gator baseball is a national power and will compete every year for the championship. We need to lock Coach O to an extended contract real soon!
