It's not going to get better.

This class will be what it is nothing to worry about hopefully with all the coaching changes more guys then normal will wait till February to sign. That will give this staff a chance to make many more visits.

Will see what happens but I doubt will be anywhere near the top 25 next Wednesday

#76 last in the SEC in the 247 combined one now. This is no longer funny.

I would probably keep my mouth shut if we were in the 30s now instead of 76 at this point but I hope we aren't back here years from now talking about this. Even in a transition class you need to get some blue chippers to not mess you up at least 3 years down the road.

Not quite as important now a days with the transfer portal and such.

If Florida is trending upwards the next couple of years they will be able to hit to portal for needed areas.

I’m not saying that top recruiting classes aren’t important at all. But recruiting is a very different monster going forward.

Relying on that too much can get you. Just like the big 3 we got recently weren't SEC game changers though they were needed starters.

It worries me some but Mullen got some late ESD players and ended up at the end with a 14th ranked transition class. Even Mac's class we were calling substandard was a # 22 transition class. Hopefully he gets it going and finishes strong. All the top recent SEC coaches have had like 11th or 12th ranked first classes.
