The game replayed at 4pm on ESPNU amd watching the game I noticed several things. One, Zuniga was not injured until 3rd qt cause he was on the field early in the second half and was actually standing on the sidelines with the defense when clock was in our favor...and he didn't have ice pack on his knee this time.

The fumble by Franks was caused because a defender got around our ROT and came up behind Franks and blind sided him.he actually got slightly hurt on that play. He then went to the bench and talked to the OL and Im sure he was asking them to give him a little more time. The ROT? Delance. We also had a drive stall because of a holding penalty...culprit? Delance and Buchanan got on him before the next play.

Did notice that for a while Forsthye switch to ROT and Gouriage went to LOT. We may see changes this week and I hope we get these problems solved.

And got to hear the broadcast crew misindentify Trey Dean as a UK DB several times. UK lost their best DB Corker with the targeting call and late in the third qt his replacement was injured. Mullen smelled blood then.

Mullen also had some stern words with Shawn Davis about the unsportsman penalty because he showboated all over the place. At first Davis just walked by Mullen and Mullen didn't like it one bit and called out to him to face him and then explained the seriousness of acting like a fool after he had a pick.

Hope so. Stone isn't innocent either, how do you not plow that db into the ground when the ball carrier is trailing you and relying on you to make that block that would've sprung the play? Dude should've been a speed bump in the turf.
Not impressed with Heggie either. Guy is jogging around out there and needs to move his arse on pulls / climbs to the 2nd level.

Serious moves need to be made. Ill take effort of a smaller guy than a 6'5 320 lb lazy arse.

Heggie got pushed back a ton this game. Just right at snap UK was in the backfield in seconds bowling over him it seemed.

I'll give Forysthe some leeway on that bad block, dude was a small DB and Forysthe is 6'7" 335...little dude went down but was able to trip up Perine. What I cant stand is a holding call, a couple of total whiffs...one that caused fumble and a sack on Trask because Delance just doesn't cut it at RT. Bleich at RG is also having issues....so I really think Mullen will demand changes.

Incorrect. Per Mullen, he was injured on the first play of the game.

Unfortunately, Franks' injury wasn't the only one on Saturday night. Defensive end Jabari Zuniga appeared to suffer a foot or ankle injury in the first series against Kentucky.

Zuniga returned briefly at the beginning of the second half before exiting again. Florida's pass rush was noticeably less effective with Zuniga out.

So you suggest moving players around or on the bench and hope it works?

I may just want to see the ones there but with a fire under their arse.

Most likely not to have as many errors and at least 3 games as starters while we wait 3 games to see if they really are better?

Too late in the season to me. By the time we find out and if it was wrong then we really are in deep shite. Keep the starters then you 1 group with 6 starts. Not 2 with 3 starts each.

Just a thiught

Nothing we have now is working. Run game is shite and we just lost our starting QB to injury behind that OL so I'd say a change at RT at a minimum.

Don't get me wrong. That shite show last night was bad. Plug them in slowly and hope. I'd agree with you on second thought.

Gouriage will probably see the field more. Forsythe did well the first two games but man he struggled yesterday. We got to figure this out soon.

Our pass game has been pretty damn effective and we have moved the ball fairly consistently all year(and two games vs good defenses). Just dumb penalties or mishaps cost us so many points.

If we get run blocking figured out this offense could be very, very good.

Lucius, I saw with my own eyes Zuniga on the field playing DE and also saw him later on bench with ice pack and then again standing on the sidelines as time was running out to give encouragement....without ice pack and I mention this to let everyone know he probably will play against UT.

I know who # 92 is. Trust me.

I like Davis and he's having a good season so far, but that was so boneheaded. We were down at that point and those yards mattered. We were fortunate to get them back on the PI called on the next play.

Davis blew a kiss to the crowd reminiscent of Feleipe's gesture earlier in the game. That kind of non-sense needs to end. It's going to get called 100% of the time.

I don't think that injury is on the O line.

That was a freak accident, it had nothing to do with the offensive line. That could have happened anywhere on the field. If someone is tackling you from behind and rolls up on your ankles it's just bad luck.

Even if an OL missed the block, I don't think it's fair to blame the OL.

The fumble was the fault of a whiffed block when the defender came around from behind Franks and hit him as he was getting ready to throw.

The injury was just damn bad luck.
