What was the excuse after Trask scored? They still got pushed around. Give it up, there are more holes on this team than one position. We got owned in the trenches for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Our Dts are nonexistant, our DEs have vanished. Lbers are being exposed in coverage and our secondary while thin are off / on lately.

You guys don't seem to get that you can't be against a hurry up defense for three goddamn quarters and your stupid fricking potato of a Quarterback can't even get over 100 yards.
The amount of covering you guys try to do for a guy who has no goddamn future at Quarterback is absolutely unbelievable.

The first half Missouri had +6 minutes on Florida. That's actually a lot, and very unusual. Most games are much closer. Guess what happens when teams have 6+ minutes on you? They have 6+ minutes extra to score points.
This is the thing you guys never understood, and will never understand.
The defense will eventually crack under pressure. Even if they had a bad first half, 21 points is not insurmountable if our offense is at least matching their offense.

9/22 less than 100 yards against the worst pass defense of the SEC.
This is the 5th game Franks couldn't reach 100 yards before the third quarter, the third in four games (with the outlier being Vanderbilt).
The team needs a new hard drive, like I said.

Our longest run was 15 yards.
Mizz had runs of 31,27 and 18 yards by 3 different players. Both of their backs avg'd over 5 ypc.
Mizz had 7 Qb hurries.
UF had ZERO... Yes, zero hurries for the entire game. Our 1 sack came from a DB, our DL was nonexistant like I said for the 2nd week in a row. Teams know our DTs are a joke and our Ends can be dbl teamed and chipped.

This doesn't matter if our offense can't get first downs.
It. Doesn't. Matter.
The defense can't play every single game like world beaters, but we should at least expect our Quarterback to be mediocre.
AT LEAST MEDIOCRE.
I told you guys what would happen when our defense and special teams couldn't carry the offense (as they have all year).
Eventually depth, wear and tear and time on field add up. The offense has to at least help. 10 points the entire game until Kang Trask comes in is not helping.
It's ridiculous that the offense can fail to produce every single game but you want to harp on the defense because you were dead wrong about Franks.
That's okay, man, I understand -- being wrong about someone is tough.
But this was bound to happen.

Noone was wrong about Franks. Nobody here said he was taking this team to ATl. Ppl said he was the starter so he mustve been our best option. And we're watching it happen all over again.
Locker rooms should not pick and choose who gets to play and who doesn't. The entire team wanted Feleipe to succeed but even a couch quarterback like me could see that for the offense that we needed this season Trask was monumentally better.
The biggest difference is downfield passing. Trask has a lot of work to do, but this work should have started since...the Spring Game.
Keep in mind, not only did Trask come into the game ice cold, he's been practicing the entire year with the 2's instead of the 1's and still beat Franks in every single statistical category outside of rushing touchdowns.

Single bad throw? His deep ball is not good. His screen pass was so close to a pick six it wasn't funny because it was too slow. He doesn't have a strong arm and it shows on some of his throws. Those quick outs will always be an issue with him because he doesn't have a quick strike. He did way better than Franks..but he isn't a top tier QB. He is basically another Del Rio.

Our coach has felt that Franks is better then Trask all season. Do you know more about QBs then Mullen ? Even you know deep down Franks is better then Trask. That’s why you ran from my van bet on who would be outlets starter . You act like Trask cane in and led us to a win . Trask came into the game when it was over and played better then the starter.

Mullen said during the presser that in practice Franks does a better job checking the offense into better plays. And thats what ive said all year, that apparently in practice there are things that Franks does better than Trask to keep the starting job even despite his struggles. For some reason this offended some ppl on here

Im all for the best guy playing, even if its the kid. Ppl all bent out of shape over a RS. Idc, 2 things will happen, either Emory is the next Dak and hes gone in 3 or hes avg and loses the job to Jalen. The whole RS thing doesnt bother me as much as others. If hes better, let him play

It's Driskel/Harris all over again. Players liked Treon more, Treon is a WR for an FCS, Driskel is in the NFL.
