A fricking backup comes in (with Mizzous STARTERS still playing with 30 seconds left in the game) and does more on 2 drives than Franks did in nearly 3 Qs.

Today's game is all on Mullen. He didn't have the team ready, and waited until we were down 25 points to put in a better option.

It was clear from the first snap.

Franks should have never, ever started this year.

Imagine what Trask would look like with some experience if he can come in and put that kind of touch on the ball.

He had several throwaways, but the ones that weren't designed throwaways hit the target every single time.

Dude's good, but he needs experience. Dan Mullen will curse the day he didn't start Kang Trask.

Franks was responsible for 6 3 and outs.

What do you expect? The defense was GASSED.

No, the defense was gashed from the getgo and the 3 and outs just added to the misery. Im glad Trask was inserted and he did throw a LOT better than Franks...but remember, even Straws has pointed out that a defense that has a big lead and the game isn't in doubt is different from starting snap one. Franks was awful, but the OL was 2017 vintage along with safeties and LBers, we only ran for 113 yds and Mizzou had 221. We had a world class punter decide to be a LBer and cost us 30 yds. The refs were blind to so much shite...Just before we punted a Mizzou player hit our WR helmet to helmut...no flag but yet Townsend barely hits a player and its 15 yds. We deserve some of the flags but some???

Im hoping Trask will start next week and lets see how he does.

Go eat a big pile of shite covered crow, man.

Yeah, the defense is gashed. What the frick do you want from them when the offense continuously can't move the ball every week? Every single week we wasted throws, we had long strings of three and outs.

The offense got the ball on the 33 and got two yards.

The defense can only do so much when they're on the field for 12+ minutes more than the other team. Trask did exactly what the frick I said he would: Move the chains. The only fear I have is what I predicted beforehand: That he doesn't have the experience necessary and will face problems in the late games where we really need to finish strong that we could have fleshed out in the first four games of the season.

Trask. Throws. Better. I. Tried. To. Tell. Your. arse. All. Year.

The defense was bad today but Franks and his 40% completion percentage isn't going to get it done. You can't justify that level of badness by pulling the "it's a team sport" card. Yeah, we might have lost today with Trask as the starter from the get-go (I said last week that Mizzou was a bad match-up with their good run defense and passing attack) but we would have had a better shot

Franks should be done, get over it

I get it if the D is holding up strong for most of the game then late 3rd early 4th the other team starts breaking them down due to being tired, yeah that happens. But its weak sauce to say they were gassed before halftime due to the offense being in neutral. We had little to no pressure at all and we had some guys exposed in coverage today as well.

Franks had 4 3 and outs before halftime.

Not to mention Mizzou runs an up tempo offense.

The entire team struggled. It look like they didn’t even want to be out there . Trask is not going to make anything better . It’s clear at this point that Mullen has to have a dual threat QB running his offense. It time to use The wild cat and Toney a lot more other then the games that Jones plays in . Trask playing good in a game that’s already over doesn’t mean he is good .

THis team was a 4 win team

Don’t start this bullshite.

Mullen was dealt a less than great team and has them at 6-3. He has done what can be done with an average team in the SEC. Simple as that.

He did so well the first seven games, now he will get shite for not finishing the season as strong. He has no depth in the secondary, no DT worth a crap, a bad group of Qbs(Trask made a few really bad throws too).

Let’s not turn on the man his first damn year. Would be ridiculous.

I didn't see a single bad throw. All of the throws were at least in the vicinity of the player as long as it wasn't a throwaway. Literally every single one of his passes was close to being caught.

Trask literally had more passing yards, completions, touchdowns and first down conversions (that he was responsible for) than Franks did with 12 minutes less of playing time. He greatly improved the Time of Possession from +16 to Mizzou to +12.

I'm saying it now: If Franks starts next week, that's it for me for Gator football this year. I came back after watching Franks eat that giant plate of shite vs. Kentucky, but if Mullen is so stubborn to just keep ramming a square peg into a round hall, then more power to him.

I'm not watching this shitshow at Quarterback when we know there is someone better on the bench but Mullen just wants to coddle his bullshite players that won't play for the 'right (white)' guy.

Driskel/Treon all over again. Team needs to get behind Trask, Trask has more touch and vision than Franks could dream of.

I've backed everything that Mullen has done this year and supported him.

But today was a load of garbage.

I felt like I was watching McElwain/Nuss coach this team. The whole decision to put in Trask down 25 when it was clear that Franks was shite from the first snap (he overthrew our best WR today Jefferson EIGHT frickING TIMES) was dumbassery of the highest level.

The team was sleep walking from the opening kickoff. Straws wants to blame everything on one person. Yeah, Franks was putrid...but our whole fricking team probably spent too much time partying Friday night and were hungover.

We could not push Mizzous defensive line all game. That's a fact and their DL pushed our OL...end of story and end of game. Mizzou wanted this game 20X more than we did. That's on coaching. Mullen has stated he hates losing. Well, he must have a really bad taste in his mouth. I thought he would switch QBs when it was 21-3, but Franks led a 75 yd drive and then played like crap the rest of the way.

Again....we will see if Mullen starts Trask next week. He may not, but I hope he does. Let him play from the first snap. USCs defense isn't all world, but if we have the same energy level….Tom Brady wouldn't help.

Nope. It's on the Quarterback.

+12 minutes of time of possession is a Quarterback problem, not a team problem.

Defense didn't do well, but they haven't been given a reason to do well. For what? For the offense to not do anything? Do you have any idea how deflating it is when your offense is given the ball at the opposing 33 yard line and they can't even get 5 yards.

Franks went 9/24 and failed to reach the hundred yard mark. Give it up.

You were wrong. Get over it. Life sucks. I told you all year.
