Norvell is unofficially out of the race, apparently there was a problem with his background (?) that I don't know about.
There are some whispers of Campbell, but I think they're probably talking about Patterson.
I'll know more by tomorrow.

I can't help but think we were the first girl at the ball and the last to get a dance partner.
How does UCLA, Tenn most likely now, Nebraska most likely now all come into this coaching search late and beat us out. Last I heard since we went all in with Kelly we are gonna be put in the chipper for it and it will be a week before we hear anything.
Stricklin could be the AD version of Mcelwain.

# 1 Franks issues have nothing to do with coaching. He is plain arse scared of a pass rush...of anykind. Watch the game films. He panics quickly. NO coach can get that out of a player. This is WHY I preached during the summer that Franks wasn't ready, but few agreed with me and most said : "if Del Rio starts I will scream" shite. Well you got your wish.
# 2 Don't start this blame game about the AD, some of you folks are so impatient and don't know shite. NONE OF US know what Stricklin is doing. Stop blaming the process. I still think we will either get someone on our wish list or most likely a coach from out of no where....just calm the frak down.
Hasn't anyone notice that there hasn't been any rumors about Kiffin? Been awfully quiet and who knows....? I am in the camp that Kiffin would be well received and he would turn our offense around pronto. Petrino? No rumors about him and he is a offensive guru who is MUCH better than Kelly. Look at what UL has done the past few years. He would need to bring his WR coach with him...watching the Cardinals WRs is a trip into Disney Land. They FIGHT like hell to catch balls. I'm so tired of our WRs not fighting or caring. Send Hammond and Swain packing. Watching yesterday Swain and Hammond whiff on blocks, Swain letting two punts sail pass him and it backed us up inside our `15 yd line and 10 yd line.
If there is a worse receiving corp in the SEC....then I haven't seen them. A new coach is going to have to work his butt off to correct the 1) attitude 2) skill level and 3) the pride level of our players. The locker room needs a sheriff to bust down the door and lay down the law.

UCLA was thought to be the favorite for Kelly throughout the year and there is really nothing you can do about a guy going back to his Alma Mater.
You can't hit a homerun without taking a swing. Stricklin tried to get Kelly, but it is obvious this isn't about money.

Taggart was one of the first people we called to gauge interest, I don't think we are necessarily all in on Frost, and I'd bet we give him a call to see where his head is at and if we don't get a good read we go after Taggart hard.

I agree that is to early to get mad at Stricklin . He looks bad right now but he could be having talks with another prove guy like Kiffin , Petrino or even Fuentes. I have seen a lot of people say they would burn their gator stuff if Kiffin was hired . I think all 3 proven guys listed would be good hires .

We need a huge talent influx on this team, Taggart could do that, Kiffin could also and last in line to me is Strong.

Wasn't really about anything. Steve Russell had stated that Stricklin and McClain weren't at the UF-FSU game, it was a just a post confirming they were in Gainesville.
